Abstract: 

Background and Objective: The present research aims at expressing the performances of human resources based on economic pattern and technology. Firstly, technological model of "Charles Perrow" matched with "Williamson" economic model. Afterwards, human resources performances such as bonus system, human resource planning, staff training and control in adaptive model have explained.Method: The present research has three major and 8 minor hypotheses.It examines the relationship between profession's characteristic (specialty, measurability, analyzability and changeability) and by using statistical methods (regression, Pearson correlation, comparison of couple mean, multivariable variance analysis and repeated measure analysis) hypotheses were analyzed through using SPSS and regression model For assessing the validity of research tool, internal compatibility method of questions (a=0.80) was used, and reliability of the research was assessed through using the viewpoints of the organization's experts, senior and high ranking managers. The research populations were 1000 senior managers of police; however, 156 individuals were selected through Cochrane formula and categorical random method.Findings: The results of testing rese9rch hypotheses indicates that professions' measurability and analyiability determines the type of bonus, planning, control, and human resources training. On the other hand, job description changeability and analyzability determines the type of bonus, planning, control and training. At the end of the discussion, results and suggestions in two organizational realms, especially in human resources performances based on the organization survey and future researches are provided.

Abstract: 

Background and Objectives: The objective of the present research is determining the level of the role of managerial strategies in empowering managers..Method: The data were gathered from 1012 senior, middle and operational managers of one of the organizations located in capitals of provinces and 13 towns in Iran. Samples were selected through cluster and regular random sampling. The data were collected through self made questionnaire; its validity approved by professors and experts active in the empowerment realm and; its validity determined after its trial performance (a=0.892). Data analyzed through using mean, standard deviation, Kolmogrov-Smirnov test, Friedman test and Kruskal-Wallis test.Findings: The results of the research Indicated that the factors "resources logistics" and "structure" have had the most and the least impact, while taking into consideration the managerial strategies.Conclusion: Ranking the managerial strategies contributing to managers' empowerment includes resources' logistics, role transparency, reward, support, performance, information technology, leadership style and structure.

Abstract: 

Objective: The present research reviews and determines the factors contributing to community-oriented policing (COP) approach in the Islamic Republic of Iran in order to design indigenous pattern for the Approach.Method: The research is of applied type and the research method is of descriptive survey type. The statistical community includes all the senior commanders and managers of police; 115 individuals were selected from among them through Krejcie and Morgan sampling table. Lickert range used for measuring the data. A self-made questionnaire was used for collecting information; its validity was approved by professors and experts active in the realm, and its reliability approved through using Cranach Alpha (a=0.8614). The data was analyzed by different statistical tests (One-tailed T test, Kolmogqrov-Smirnov test, Pearson correlation coefficient, Kendall tau-b correlation coefficient) using SPSS; LlSREL was used for content analysis to test the analytical model. The present research has determined-internal and external organizational factors and variables such as human resources, organizational structure, information technology, police professionalism, leadership style, leadership potentials, organizational culture, public expectations from police, dominance expectation from police, social partnership, civil oversight, COP, public trust, police sovereignty as factors impacting community oriented polici ng in Iran.Findings: The results of the research indicate that there is a significant relationship between all the anticipated factors and variables of the research and COP approach; in addition, it has impact on it, as well.Conclusion: The processed model of the findings indicates that there is direct relationship between, external organizational factors COP approach and inter-organizational factors. However, there is ' a reverse relationship between inter-organizational factors and community oriented policing approach.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Nowadays, organizations adopt some strategies to reach their goal while taking into consideration the environmental conditions including Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT), and non-government organizations are not exception to the rule. The aim of the present research is reviewing the strategies of non-government organizations (NGOs) toward growth and development of social capital.Method: The present research is of descriptive correlative-survey type.The research data collected through self-made questionnaire through 196 senior managers of NGOs through cluster sampling.For this purpose, a questionnaire designed in relation with these two variables, and after ensuring about validity and reliability of the questionnaire, was distributed among a sample of 196 individuals.Findings: Results of the research indicated that utilization of strategies of non-governmental bodies led to establishment and improvement of social capital in organizations.Conclusions: NGO sand their significant influence in the society lead to increase in social capital. Meanwhile, they can be considered new partners of the government in the realm of philanthropy- based services.

Abstract: 

Background and Objectives: The definite definition of any phenomenon provides the possibility of its logical and scientific analysis and through establishment of background for precise goal setting, proper development of strategies and suitable guidance of executive measures, the circumstances be prepared for its efficient management. Therefore, the main objective of the present research is conceptualization of crisis in the realm of police related knowledge through explaining the aspects and constituents of police crisis. For this purpose, the characteristics of crisis in the decision making approach are three factors-those which are threats against the values, raid and time pressure considered as the main elements of crisis, and are emphasized on as the theoretical framework of the research.Effort has been made to provide the background for defining crisis, while stressing on police crisis and the above-mentioned approach.The two major questions raised here for the research orientation are: What is meant by crisis according to policing vision? Based on policing approach what are the dimensions and constituents that form crisis.Method: The research is of descriptive analytical type. Exploration studies - were conducted through library method and reviewing documents. After composing the topic literature, expert people were selected from among policing affairs specialists, and poll was taken through using Delphi technique on the dimensions and constituents, which form police crisis through using a questionnaire. Afterward, the specialized comments of the specialists were analyzed through benefiting from Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP).Findings: The most proper description for police crisis is a series of conditions and circumstances in which organizational objectives and values are endangered, and the triple aspects of threat against Islamic Revolution, threats against societal order and security, and threats against public and individual welfare are the major components of the crisis in this approach.Conclusions: The result of the study in response to the research. questions indicates that emergence of crisis of any type is associated with two major problems: security threats and security requirements related to the police missions and assignments. In this regard, Police is responsible for combating all the crises. The triple aspects of the police crisis are divided int0 some other constituents and indices. Therefore, through their analysis different forms of crisis, may be described and analyzed in different levels.

Abstract: 

Background & Objective: Occupational stress is an expanding global experience that is considered as a major risk factor in physical and mental illness, and leads to reduction in work performance and job satisfaction level. Along with this, the present study is conducted aiming at reviewing the frequency of job stress among motorists in Tehran.Method: Job stress of 202 drivers -those who provide services to municipality, and military centers of Tehran- with a mean age of 41.66±8.70 years, reviewed in a descriptive study through using demographic data and Osipow job stress questionnaire.Findings: The findings indicated that majority of the subjects, i.e.97% were married, 95% had finished junior high school and 66.3% did not own personal accommodation, and just 3.5% were satisfied with their monthly income and 13.5% had job consent; 21.3% of them were smokers and 16% complained about physical problems.In terms of occupational stress, role overload had no stress, role insufficiency 20.8%, role ambiguity 6.5%, role boundary 10.7%, responsibility 5% and physical environment 18.8% a severe stress.Conclusion: Occupational stress on the part of drivers may lead to some problems and some physical, mental and behavioral effects, and reduce the quality of organization performance; in addition, it may cause accidents and result in death or disability for people. Therefore, it is essential to conduct a more comprehensive survey on stress levels among drivers and take necessary measures to reduce the relevant consequences.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Many researchers conducted to recognize the most important factors contributing to military social status.Although some researchers have dealt with identical theories to identify the variables, they have reached various statistical results concerning intensity and direction of the linkage between some independent variables and dependent variable (social status of the armed forces).It is through statistical and advanced meta-analysis techniques that contradictory statistical results of various researches are assimilated and puts an end to confusion regarding the relationship between dependent variables and social status of the armed forces. One of the objectives of the present research is collecting and encoding the components and characters of the conducted studies in the realm of armed forces' social status.Method: In this meta-analysis, all/he studies dealing with factors contributing to the social status-of the armed forces, regardless of the quality of the studies, were collected, and finally 13 studies selected to be considered in the meta-analysis. Afterwards, the hypotheses of every research were extracted. Then, characters and components of the studies of 136 extracted hypotheses encoded, and statistical information converted to effect amount for measuring extract effect amount and the required information through using CMA software, and identical hypotheses extracted from among researches. Four repeated hypotheses, out of the reviewing the impact of re-employment during the retirement period on the status of the armed forces, were incorporated through meta-analysis method.Findings: The results of the research indicated that impact of reemployment during the retirement period on the status of the armed forces, in terms of statistics, is significant, and its impact rate is located in a confidence interval (0.432<p<0.514).In other words, all together the effect size of the four hypotheses meet the above-mentioned safety gap.Conclusion: It seems that military uniform causes much falloff in the society status of military men after retirement, compared with civilians.Therefore, re-employment even part-time and restoring the uniform means restoring the lost social status of the military men.
