Background and Objective: Chief among the most important factors which facilitate and reinforce creativity and innovation in organizations, is existence of a proper structure and arrangement proportionate with the organizations’ predetermined goals and being in line with organization and management’s theories. The present research conducted aiming at reviewing the relationship between theories of organizations and creativity. At first, the theoretical principles of organizations’ theories are expressed based on three rational, natural and systemic approaches, then the relationship between each of the theories with creativity, and based on scholars’ hypothesis approaches, then the relationship between each of the theories with creativity, and based on scholars’ hypothesis is analyzed.Method: The present applied descriptive research, used content analysis method for analyzing information. On this basis, scholars and experts’ theories collected through literature review and content analysis.Findings: The findings resulted from reviewing organizational theories in the framework of principles and hypotheses of the triple rational, natural and systemic theories (structure, standardization, communication, control, delegation, centralization, flexibility, formality, discretion, laws and regulations, relationship with environment, etc.) indicate the different impact of each one on the staff creativity.Conclusion: Theories based on rational approach have negative impact on creativity, and theories based on natural approach have positive impact on creativity. The more important point is that theories based on systemic and open approaches, have more impact on creativity. In addition, basically creative and innovative people epitomize in such organizations. At the end of the research, a conceptual model with respect to important keywords is offered.
