Abstract: 

The purpose of the study was to investigate knowledge management in various zones of Islamic Azad University (IAU). The population of the study consisted of all the staffs of IAU in all branches.1590 staffs were selected using cluster and stratified random sampling. The research instrument was knowledge management questionnaire which included the components of management and leadership, systematic work and learner society, knowledge distribution, knowledge creation, digital equity, ideas and mission, strategy, organizational culture, mental asset, and learner organization (a=0.97). It was administered among the staffs. Having F into account (11.39) and the level of significance (0.000), it can be concluded that there is a significant difference among the average scores of the knowledge management indices in different zones of IAU. The result of FSD test also indicated that the knowledge management index for zone 3 is higher than other zones.

Abstract: 

The present research investigates the effectiveness of problem-solving skills training according to D' Zurilla and Goldfried on the conflicts of parent-child among the girl students in Behbahan high schools. The Research was conducted on a semi-experimental design of pre- and post-test with control group. The research instrument used for collecting data in this project was a questionnaire of parent-children conflict measurement (cp). The population of the study consisted of the first grade girl students from high schools in Behbahan in the school year of 2008-09. Using cluster random sampling method, forty students were selected who had the most conflicts with their parents and they were divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group participated in 10 sessions of group counseling. Each session took around 75 minutes. Besides descriptive statistics, independent-sample t test, multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), and multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) were used to analyze the data. The result of the analysis was investigated at the level of a<0.05 and results obtained from this research showed that problem solving skills training according to D’Zurilla and Goldfried leads to decrease conflict between parent-child, verbal aggression, and physical aggression. It can also cause an increase in reasoning among the girl students of the experimental group.

Abstract: 

The present research was done aiming at determining the effect of illogical beliefs on mental health of the secondary school girl students. The studied population included all girl students of secondary schools in Tehran city in educational year of 2008. Research sample was determined to be 360 students using multiphase random sampling method. For gathering data, two major tools were used: A) Jones Illogical Beliefs Questionnaires (IBT) including 100 items with 5 choices in 10 components (expecting others to confirm, excessive self expectation, self criticism, reaction to distress, emotional irresponsibility, anxious attention, prevention from problem, dependence, distress for change, perfectionism), B) Goldberg Mental Health Questionnaire including 28 items with 4 choices in 4 scales: 1) physical symptoms, 2) anxiety and insomnia, 3) social dyspraxia, 4) severe depression. Research data processing was done using descriptive and inferential statistics and results of data processing confirmed research hypotheses that are: 1) 50% of the high school students had logical belief, 10.5% had average belief, i.e. fluctuating logical and illogical beliefs, 39.5% had illogical beliefs; 2) there is a significant difference between components of mental health of the students. The highest rank relates to depression and the lowest rank relates to physical symptoms; 3) one can predict disorder in mental health of the students on grades of illogical beliefs. Ability to predict illogical beliefs in terms of distress for change is more than that in terms of emotional irresponsibility and emotional irresponsibility is more than prevention from problem, and prevention from problem is more than self criticism and self criticism is more than anxious attention.

Abstract: 

This investigation has paid attention to the skills confronting against stress and educational progress of youth researchers club member of 12 districts Islamic Azad University. The population in this research included all the members of Young Researchers Club in all the branches of Islamic Azad University in 12 zones in the academic year of 2009-10. Using simple random sampling method, 384 students (according to Morgan’s table) were selected from the university branches in Roudehen, Damavand, Parand, Karaj, Ghazvin, Firuzkoh and Varamin. Kalat standard questionnaire (2002) was used which included 32 items. Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient was calculated to be 0.87. Research findings suggested that the main dimension of stress confrontation skills has been categorized in two general topics (method centered on face-to-face on problem and method face-to-face on emotion). It has also been concluded that the skills stress confrontation skills only determines 0.2 of educational progress of members of Young Researchers Club. With regard to standard regression coefficient, methods centered on problem (-0.123) would be effective on education on educational progress.

Abstract: 

This study intended to investigate the factors affecting the development of entrepreneurship from the entrepreneurship managers’ and graduates’ viewpoint so as to design an appropriate syllabus in educational management and programming at BA level. On the basis of expansive literature review and with regard to entrepreneurship managers and graduates’ viewpoints, the independent variables in this research included one’s locus of control, creativity, risk-taking ability, motivation for progress, attention to human resources, educational concepts and objectives. The dependent variable in this study was the development of entrepreneurship to provide an appropriate syllabus in educational management and programming at BA level. This research was by nature an applied one and it was based on a field method. Based on the simple randomization which was used in the sampling design, 63 participants in each group were selected from among the population of all the graduates of the faculty of entrepreneurship in Tehran University as well as the entrepreneurs in Tehran. The data collection instrument utilized was a researcher-made questionnaire. For the further analysis of data, both descriptive and inferential statistics were used. A Chi-Square-Parametric test was used in order for the researchers to investigate the research questions. It should also be noted that SPSS software was used for the data analysis. The results obtained from the entrepreneurship graduates and managers’ viewpoints indicated that attention to educational concepts and objectives, educational process, human resources, educational facilities, educational assessment, risk-taking, motivation (need for success), creativity and locus of control had significant effects on designing a syllabus for entrepreneurship e course of educational sciences.

Abstract: 

The present research aims at assessing the effect of teaching gnosticism and spirituality on raising mental health among female high-school students in District 13 of Tehran during academic year 1386-87. Out of the sample of 120 students who were selected through a multi-stage sampling method, 60 students who had obtained higher scores on the mental health questionnaire were singled out in each school.60 students in one school were assigned to the experimental group and the other 60 to the control group. Ten educational session was held for the experimental group based on Gnostic and spiritual approach whose foundation was on understanding of cognitive errors with the help of stories in Rumi's Mathnawi. To collect data, Goldberg Mental Health Test was employed. This test is composed of 28 four-choice items which concern four areas of physical symptoms, anxiety and insomnia, social functioning, and depression symptoms. There were totally 7 items pertaining to each of these areas. For data analysis, both descriptive statistics (e.g. frequency measures, mean, standard deviation, skewedness) and inferential statistics (e.g. analysis of covariance, LSD test) were used. The analysis of covariance demonstrates that teaching gnosticism and spirituality might raise students’ mental health, students’ physical functioning, students’ social functioning, and might lower students’ anxiety level and depression.

Abstract: 

This research has been done to study the internal relationships among Davis’ Technology Acceptance Model Constructs. For this purpose a sample of 133 freshman students of computer science at associate level were selected using cluster random sampling. After six weeks training, the students answered TAM questionnaire which was adapted from Gardner and Amoroso (2004) and Klopping and McKinney (2004). Results showed that the effect of path coefficient of perceived ease of use of the internet on perceived usefulness of the Internet, the effect of path coefficient of perceived usefulness of the internet on behavioral intention to use internet, the effect of path coefficient of attitude toward using the internet on behavioral intention to use internet and the effect of path coefficient of behavioral intention to use internet on actual usage of the internet were significant but the path coefficients of perceived ease of use the internet and perceived usefulness of the internet on attitude toward using the internet was not significant. Also, behavioral intention to use internet explained 31% of actual usage variance of the internet.

Abstract: 

This research investigated the personality traits and self-regulated learning and their interactive effect on the academic achievement of all students of Islamic Azad University (IAU) Maku Branch and Payame Noor university .The subjects were 385 students who were selected using stratified random sampling based on Cochran formula. The research methods were cross-sectional, survey, and correlation. To collect data, NEO personality questionnaire and MSLQ questionnaire were administered. The results of the study showed that out of all the variables related to personality traits (i.e., neuroticism, extroversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, conscientious) and self-regulated learning (i.e., high-level cognitive strategies, low-level cognitive strategies, self-regulation. internal evaluation, test anxiety) whose effects are investigated on the academic achievement, only three variables of high level cognitive strategies, self-efficacy, and test anxiety are statistically significant and enter the model. Furthermore, there is not any significant difference between the variables of personality traits and self-regulated learning among students in IAU and Payame Noor universities of Maku. However, there is a significant difference between girl and boy students of these universities in three variables of low-level cognitive strategies, internal evaluation, and test anxiety.
