Abstract: 

هدف کلی این پژوهش، بررسی شیوه های بهینه سازی و کاربرد فناوری اطلاعات (IT) در مدارس متوسطه استان مرکزی می باشد. این پژوهش از نظر هدف، کاربردی و از نظر روش، «توصیفی» است. جامعه ی آماری پژوهش حاضر، شامل کلیه دبیران شاغل در مدارس متوسطه اعم از نظری، فنی و حرفه ای، کار و دانش و پیش دانشگاهی (دخترانه وپسرانه) می باشد. که این افراد با سطوح تحصیلی متفاوت انتخاب شدند. به گونه ای که در ناحیه یک 880 و در ناحیه دو 620 نفر و در مجموعه 1509 نفر مشغول به کار هستند که در این بین محقق از جمعیت مذکور افرادی را که دارای 20 سال سابقه خدمت یا بالاتر هستند مورد مطالعه قرار داده است، به گونه ای که جامعه آماری 450 نفر اعلام می شود و نمونه آماری با استفاده از جدول مورگان به تعداد 200 نفر و به شیوه تصادفی ساده انتخاب گردید. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات پرسش نامه ی محقق ساخته می باشد که به تایید اساتید رسیده است. نتایج حاصل از اجرای آزمون ناپارامتریک (خی دو) نشان می دهد که نتایج به دست آمده از فرضیه ها از عمده ترین راه های کاربست فناوری اطلاعات در مدارس بوسیله دبیران است.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of the present study is to study the organizational health among different zones of the Islamic Azad University (IAU). The population of the study was comprised of all the IAU staffs.558 participants were selected using stratifies random sampling. The research instrument was Organizational Health Inventory (OHI) which was administered on the participants. The results of one-way ANOVA and LSD follow-up test indicated that 1) there is a significant difference between organizational health indices in different zones, 2) The LSD follow-up test shows that the mean index of organizational health in zone 3 is more than of zone 2. The organizational health index in zone 4 is more than that in zones 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 as small as that in zone 3 while the indices in other zones are smaller than zone 4. The mean index of zone 8 is larger than that in zones 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 7, 10, 12. The mean index of zone 11 is more than that in zones 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 while that index in other zones is smaller than that in zone 11.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research is to investigate how teachers use communication skills in their interaction with students and its relationship with students’ pass rate. The sample of the research included 79 first grade high school students from Tehran and 67 of their teachers in 2008-2009 academic year which was randomly chosen through high schools of Tehran. In this descriptive research, data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire which was made based on effective traits of interpersonal relationship (openness, empathy, supportiveness, positivism and equality), for both teachers and students and included 49 items. The reliability of the questionnaire based on Cronbach alpha was obtained 0.959. Frequency table, independent-samples t-test, Pearson’s correlation coefficient r, and Chi Square were used in SPSS software for analyzing the data. The research results show that there is a meaningful difference between teachers’ and students’ opinion regarding teachers’ use of communication skills. Also, female teachers use communication skills in a better way than male teachers and girls pass rate is more than boys. Furthermore, there is a meaningful positive correlation among teachers using communication skills and students pass rate.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the study was to identify the strategies to increase the public participation in education by using survey method. The population of the study included 927 school managers, 884 staffs of ministry of education in Semnan province, and 153126 students. According to Morgan sampling table, 269 managers, 265 staffs, and 192 (384/2) students’ parents were actually selected. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire which consisted of 48 items in Likert scale. The validity of the instrument was examined by 20 experts, and its reliability was calculated by Cronbach Alpha method to be 0.72. The results of the study showed that the most important strategies to improve public participation in education can be listed in six areas. These areas include teaching, staffs’ affaires, students’ affaires, financial problems, school-society relationship, facilities and equipment.

Abstract: 

The present study was to do a survey on the relationships between the aspects of learner organization and the effectiveness of the junior high school’s principals in District 4 in Tehran. The research is a descriptive and post hoc study. Its population included 993 managers. According to Morgan sampling table, 300 received two questionnaires with Chronbach alpha of 0.95 for learner organization questionnaire, and 0.89 for the questionnaire for effectiveness of principals. The main aspect of learner organization in junior high schools of district 4 in Tehran consisted of personal skill, mental patterns, common perspective, systematic learning, and systematic thought. The current state of the aspects of learner organization in junior high schools of district 4 in Tehran, i.e., mental pattern and systematic thought, are at lower level than the average and is not at 0.05 level of significance. Other aspects, i.e., personal skill, systematic learning, and common perspective, are at the medium level or a little higher. The more the mental patterns, the more leadership teachers have. Also, there is no relationship between common perspective and teachers’ leadership. At the same time, there isn' t any relationship between common perspective and management of school affairs, and between systematic thought and management of school affairs. No relationship is considered between systematic thought, the appropriate behavior with teachers, and the ability to evaluate. Moreover, the more systematic learning occurs, the higher teacher management would be.

Abstract: 

This research attempts to explain the relation between gender and use of information technology and introduce a way to develop the use of information technology in Islamic Azad University in Iran. The goal of the study has been focused on comparison between men and women and the amount of information technology (IT) usage and also investigating the effect of IT among experts in Islamic Azad University. The design of the present study was a descriptive survey. The population comprised of all of the experts in Islamic Azad University in Islamshahr (N=109) who were selected through availability sampling. The instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire with desirable validity and reliability (a=0/88). Data analysis was done using one sample t-test and independent groups t-test. Finally, the findings of the research showed that men more than women use the information technology. Also, the use of IT in Islamic Azad University is considered to be average (or as was expected) by experts.

Abstract: 

The aim of this research was to study the optimizing methods and applications of information technology (IT) in high schools of Markazi province. It was an applied research and the method was descriptive. The population of the study included all the teachers working in high schools and pre-university schools (girls and boys) with various education statuses. Out of 880 teachers in region 1, 620 teachers in region 2, totally 1509, those with work experience of 20 years and more, totally 450, were selected. According to Morgan’s sampling table, 200 teachers were actually selected randomly as members of sample group. Research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed by teachers. Running non-parametric (Chi Square) indicated that teachers are the main factors in the development of IT in schools.

Abstract: 

This study examines the effects of academic stress on the motivation of university students in Tehran and its suburb. It discusses the question whether the educational stress is lower than average index and whether motivation of students is lower than the average index? In this study, educational stress was considered as independent variable in three areas of education, course content, and educational program. Academic motivation was also the dependent variable and gender was considered as moderate variable.1600 participants were randomly selected from among all the university students in Tehran including one from state, Islamic Azad, Payam-e-Noor, and Science and Technology universities. The research instruments were two questionnaires related to educational stress and academic motivation. The results of the data analysis using dependent t-test, regression, one-way ANOVA, and independent t-test indicated that there is a negative relationship between educational stress and academic motivation. Also, there is a significant negative correlation between educational stress, course content, educational program and academic motivation. Furthermore, educational stress was more than the norm but the academic motivation was lower than average. Therefore, it is suggested that the more educational stress is reduced, the more academic motivation is enhanced.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present research is to study the effectiveness of training problem-solving skills on students’ self-efficacy. The population of the research consisted of all female high school students of Rasht city. Sample size was determined according to the scientific principles and formula of sample size estimate. The sample consisted of 30 students (experimental group 15 students and control group 15 students) who were selected through multi-stage random sampling. Research design was experimental (pretest-posttest with control group). Problem-solving skills were trained to the students in experimental group for 8 sessions each lasting 2 hours. The research instrument was Sherer’s Self-efficacy Scale. T-test and analysis of covariance were used to analyze the data. The findings indicated that self-efficacy of students who received problem-solving training is more than that of the students who did not received training. Also, the self-efficacy of students shows appropriate stability during this time.
