Abstract: 

Statement of Problem: Most of the scientists believe that psychological and behavioral problems of the Youth are roots of the aggression. These behaviors can cause to problems between individual, crimes, offense to others rights and internalization can lead to physical and psychological problem. The importance of coping strategies about Condition to showing youngsters behavior it has been clear by scientists.Objective: The Examination of Relation to Between Coping Strategies and Aggression Behavior on Youths: A Case study of Islam Abad-e-gharb.Research Method: This article conducted based on quantitative method and survey technique and with questionnaire instrument among 19-30 years age old in the Islam Abad-e-gharb City. Sample contained 400 persons and selected through random sampling. Face, criterion and construct validity have been used to verify the validity and alpha coefficients to assess the reliability of the measurement. To test the hypotheses, Pearson correlation coefficient and analysis of variance were employed.Findings: the Results of Research show that average of individual Conformity strategist’s Score in Rational dimension was 21.55, in emotional dimension 37.42 and in evidences dimension 19.44, also average of individual aggression’s score in offense dimension was 32.71, in Rage dimension 48.51 and Implacability dimension 28.65. This average according to F test in at least level %95 is meaningful.Conclusion: findings show that people when use of emotional strategy against problems, indicate more Aggression from themselves in Invasion, Rage and Implacability. But in another tow strategies (Rational and evidences) for this dimensions are Setback, because people who indicate evidences strategy from themselves, have no reason for Aggression, Rather they Retreat from this behavior because they have no power to Contrast With that, Whereas for Rationality dimension people try to contrast with that are not by Violence and Aggression, Rather by Rationally and correct logical.

Abstract: 

The researches on developmental programs of different countries in the world have shown the important role of information and comminication teachnology. The current study examines the level of using and utilizing information and comminication teachnology in research and educational arena of Isfahan University. It is of a survey nature and the statistical community includes graduate students, post graduate students and the faculty members of Isfahan University in 2008 (1387) that are 3981 persons. Sampling method is done corresponding to the volume of the community and the scal is likert five degree, validity of the research is approved by a number of faculty members and graduate student s and by using Cronbakh alpha, the reliability of questionnaire is calculated 79% for items of educational index and 81% for items of research index. The results show that the average level of using information and comminication teachnology by respondents varies due to their educational level, and the highest level belongs to the faculty members. The Tuky test shows that the difference of the average of using information and comminication teachnology between postgraduate and graduate students is not meaningful; while the difference of the same between graduate and postgraduate students and faculty members is meaningful.

Abstract: 

This study tried to survey the factors on student risk-taking amongst Ilam Universities Students in 2007. Thus, a standard questionnaire was filled out by 400 students of Ilam universities as our sample. The object of the study was to find out the affecting factors on risk bearing of the students or the youths. In this study, several theories were appli ed such as Fishbein and Aizen Attitude Theory, Getzels Social System Theory and Deci and Ryan Self-Determination Theory as the theoretical framework. In this paper, the research method is the Survey Method because the data collection has been based upon questionnaire. For data analysis, SPSS was used and in sum, 386 questionnaires were obtained and analyzed.Descriptive Method was used to explain the situation of the students among the sample, and also for testing of four hypotheses, we applied inferential and mathematical statistics. It was concluded that the relationship between parents and the students, and also Peers relationship have effect on risk-bearing of the students. The results also showed that the gender has effect on student's risk-taking. Thus, male students are more susceptible than female students. The results also indicated that the rate of risk-taking of the students is above the mean.

Abstract: 

Higher education system (HES) is a social institution that has long been set up to accomplish three missions education, research and service, but during recent years entrepreneurship has been added to its missions. Curriculum is the most important component and subsystem of HES and has been thought of as the heart of higher education (HE), because it is the most fundamental means that provides students with knowledge, experience and skills to supply services to the society. The curriculum which can accomplish ideals and missions of universities, organizational (of the university) and social (of the employers and the society) is called accountable curriculum (AC). The main goal of this research was explanation of prerequisites and social outcomes of higher education accountable curriculum (HEAC). To do the research descriptive survey method was used and in order to collect the needed data interview and questionnaire instruments were utilized.The sample of the study which the questionnaire was distributed in, included faculty members and graduate students of university of Isfa han, Technical University of Isfahan, and Medical University of Isfahan and also employers and administrators of the companies of Isfahan city. The participants of the sample were al1ocated using stratified random sampling. The questionnaire surveyed the sample's viewpoints about prerequisites and outcomes of the AC in the field of social services. The collected data were analyzed at descriptive and inferential levels using SPSS. The findings of T-test revealed that the mean of the sample's viewpoints about the explained prerequisites and outcomes had been more than the hypothetical (theoretical) mean of the population (p£0/001). The multivariate variance analysis (MANOVA) of the data showed that there hadn' t been significant difference among viewpoints of faculties, and employers in respect of prerequisites of HEAC, but there had been significant difference between their views about expected social outcomes of HEAC (P£0/005).

Abstract: 

Mixed Method Research is considered as the latest methodological orientation in social and behavioral sciences and sociology which has been developed following a long period of intra-paradigm controversies between quantitative and qualitative approaches. Based on pragmatist perspective, the mixed method research, while emphasizing on paradigm convergence, seeks to combine both quantitative and qualitative methodologies in a single study which takes three forms containing of concurrent, sequential, and transformative designs.Historically tracing back to 1960s, the mixed method research methodology has formally introduced in last decade, then, it has followed and expanded over recent years. This emergent strategy has particular literature, principles, stages and designs quite different from the conventional qualitative and quantitative designs.In this Paper, it has been tried to overview the historical emergence of mixed method research and its definitions. Then, while introducing the deductive and inductive types of mixed method designs, six types of mixed method research including of Concurrent-Triangulation, Concurrent-Nested, Concurrent-Transformative, Sequential-Explanatory, Sequential-Exploratory and Sequential-Transformative designs and their practical procedures have been discussed. Besides, some aspects of mixed method research proposal including of: Goals, Questions and Hypothesis in mixed method design, the place of theory, the mixed method data collection and analysis strategies, the practical stages of conducting and writing mixed methods research reports, and the strategies of validation and evaluation mixed method designs have been explored.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study is to examine the validity and reliability of pro-social tendencies scale among students at the university of Isfahan. The population in this study compised whole undergraduate students of the university of Isfahan in the educational year 1387-88. By using a simple randomized sampling commensurate with Cohen & others (2000) formula, some 300 subjects were selected. Scales used concurrently were: Carlo et al's pro-social tendencies (with 25 items), Rushton et al's global pro-social behavior (with 20 items), Davis' empathic concern (with 7 items), Nickell et al' s altruistic Values (with 4 items) and Steele et al's Social responsibility motivation (with 4 items). All of the above scales were administered concurrently for studying the validity and reliability of pro-social tendencies. Data was analyzed and studied using coronbach's Alpha, Spearman-Brown and Guttman's coefficients, factor analysis (with principal component and varimax rotation) and concurrent validity (the correlation between scales). Results showed that the coronbach's Alpha for pro-social tendencies, global pro-social behavior, empathic concern, altruistic values and social responsibility motivation were 0.861, 0.845, 0.600, 0.500 and 0.782 respectively. The result of factor analysis showed five factors for pro-social tendencies: anonymouse, public- altruistic, emotional, dire and compliant pro-social behaviors.

Abstract: 

The aim of this article is to study the social effective factors on addiction phenomenon, this research is a case study in nature. The population of study consisted 135 self- directing addicts from the improvement centers affiliated by Ahwaz welfare center (behzisti). Thus, dependent variable in this research consists four elements; type of opium, quantity, times and method of consumption. Thus, in this research we study the relationship between independent variables (socio–economic status, age, marital status, relative deprivation, isolation, normlessness, social association with addicted friends) and addiction intensity as dependent variable.Findings showed a significant and inverse relation between socio-economic status and addiction intensity (dependent variable). Also result indicated that, there is a meaningful relation between normlessness, isolation, social association with addicted friends and the dependent variable (addiction intensity). But result showed that, there is no significant relationship between variables such as age, marital status and relative deprivation with addiction intensity.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of arbitration on decrease of matrimonial conflicts to divorce of married couple who asked for divorce and to compare it with the process of consultation.In this study, 15 pairs for arbitration and 15 pairs for consultation are selected among married couple from social services of "adoption institution" in Isfahan, who had come to the interfering in family center, to decrease the divorce.The research procedure was consisted of two methods: 1) Descriptive (survey) 2) Quasi experimental with pre-test and post–test.To collect datum, Sanaei and Barati matrimonial conflicts questionaire and Ghalili and Fatehizadeh.matrimonial conflicts questionnaire have been used. To analyze the results SPSS software has been used.The results show that the process of arbitration doesn’t have influence on decrease of matrimonial conflicts and its dimensions in married couple who ask for divorce (p>0.05), whereas the process of consultation has influence on decease of matrimonial conflicts and its dimensions in married couple who ask for divorce (p<0.05).None of the processes, namely arbitration and consultation, have differences on effect according to the gender (p>0.05).

Abstract: 

Societal security is one of the most important cases in every society and also is precondition for living of every political and societal society. Societal security is related to psycho emotion of citizens from security and hence has a lot of problem with supply it. Women are most vulnerable people with security and thus the topic of this research is the study of women's societal security emotion and the factors affecting it in Mashhad in 2007.This paper is a survey study by control of terms, is a broaden study by extended and is a cutting study by time (in the second half of 1387). The population is the women that has more than 15 years old in Mashhad city. The sample size based on kockran formula is 360. The questionnaires with suitable structures validity (based on Kronbagh’s coefficient of Alfa) in the ratio clustering sampling and in 12 deferent zones have been distributed.In this research, the rate of women's mean societal security emotion in Mashhad in a one to five scale was 2/60 which is below average. The most important effective factors in analysis of multi-variable regression, according to their importance, was as follows: using media, theory of veil, urban design, self-concept, house keeping and social avocations. These factors denoted 54 percent of variance of research dependent variables.
