The present article studies the ontological considerations of two philosophical characters in the novels “Deportment” by Mahmoud DolatAbadi and “Goodbye Party” by Milan Condra. These two writers are from east and west and there are similarities and sometimes opposing ideas in their works. DolatAbadi is one of the famous contemporary Iranian writers whose books have been translated into different languages and Condra is from Czech Republic.

One of the most important manifestations of mysticism among religions and learning schools is the mystical truth seeking of the devotees and failure in understanding the essence of the creator of both worlds; it is the subject which has had a great and controversial status in epistemology and ontology since ancient times and has kept busy the mind of many researchers. Thus the subject of mystical truth seeking is being studied by the present article through a comparative review of Islamic and Buddhist mysticism while taking into consideration some of the poetry of SohrabSepehri.

The present article attempts to study the impact of Persian religious epics on Kurdish hymn book of Gholam Reza Khan Arkvazi the great Shiite Kurdish poet from Ilam from a comparative point of view. Since the Shiite Kurds make up a great part of the population of Iran and they have played an important role in the formation of Shiite religion, study of their literary works and comparing them with Persian works is of great contention and it can help the national convergence.

Dynamicity and creativity of the imagination of mankind is unlimited. The pearl of imagination becomes most beautiful when it finds its way out of the clams of time and space. The secret to the success of the worldly known works of literature is the same. Criticizing and comparison of literary works based on scientific and standard criteria for reaching at unbiased results is a valuable activity. The present article attempts to compare the viewpoints of two poets FarrokhiSisitani& Mutenabbi through two of their odes.

The present article is an attempt to show that modern story writing in Iran has been influenced by the world dramatic literature. Studying the contemporary stories shows that Iranians have been influenced by worldmethods and literary schools. For certain political and ideological reasons these influences have mostly been from the works of Russian literature. The article explores the works of Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Gholam Hussein Saedi as the representative story writers of two different cultures and from different times to conclude how the Russian writer has influenced the iranain one.

In order to understand the quality of the passions of the poet and the atmosphere of his or her mind and imagination, studying the origin of poetry is an interesting and important activity. Believing in the origin for different arts has always been at the core of western and eastern discussions on art. Analysis of artistic themes and relating them to the outside world needs an understanding of the atmosphere in which the poet has been influenced by different elements. The present article studies the poetic inspiration as mentioned in world literature under different names such as creativity, ingenuity, or initiative.

Saadiand Mutenaabi are both among the greatest and most well-known poets of Iran and Iraq who share some similaritiesin their way of thinking and expression as well as their artistic vision. The present article studies their sonnets while focusing on the subjects of love, lover and beloved in their poetry. It also studies and compares their themes and similar viewpoints.

The present article is an attempt to compare in summary two Iranian and European love stories. Both of these stories are about the inevitable love which changes the order of everything; and the lovers tolerate everything privately. Although there are similarities among the love stories of the world there are certain aspects of them which are still to be known. This article tries to ignore the geographical distance between the writers and compare the beauties of the two stories.

The perfect human is an instance of divine florescence and a great sign of divinity which has been created in truth and is the key to wisdom. From the view point of Ibn-e-Arabi, human is the result of existence and is the perfection of this world. The heart of the perfect human is a mirror reflecting the divine characteristics. From the view point of Mewlanathe perfect human is the representative of the divine existence on earth and the mirror of existence whose relation to the divine source is immediate and direct and is thus the heart and soul of the universe.

The present article studies and reviews the impact of Iranian and eastern allegories and parables on the greatest allegorical poet of the seventeenth century France- Jean de La Fontaine. Although La Fontaine has paid attention to the Aesop and Phaedrus Fables which themselves might have been rooted in eastern fables, he has also been impacted by the allegories and parables of Anvar by Soheili and Golestan by Saadi. Of course he has also been influential in Iranian and Persian poetry. At times it is very difficult to judge the original source of La Fontaine’s fables.
