One of the most important issues in development trend for any country is having high mental health among the youth, so the study of students' mental health as an important group in every country is so necessary. The main aim of this research is the study of mental health among Shiraz University students as a sample group.With selecting Maslow and psychological modernization as theoretical framework and using survey method and questionnaire, about 465 students by proportional stratified random sampling were elected.The data analysis were done by SPSS 18 software. The result have shown that there are significant relationships between mental health and birth place (the place of socialization), experience of violence in family, the rate of religiosity, membership in student associations, satisfaction of university and academic achievement. There aren’t significant relationships between mental health and age, gender, marital status and ethnicity of respondents either.

This research is created with the purpose of scientifically identification of cultural effects on environmental protection and behaviors. The views analysis is based on Durkheim, Weber, Parsons, Giddens, Tomeh approaches and theories. The research and questionnaire are used for 400 citizens of Tehran selected from two different areas, 5 and 18. Data analysis based on inferential statistics and tables distribution, and in the deductive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, multivariable regression and path analysis are used for data analysis as well.Accessing the research in detail and examination of so many variables impact on environmental protection, results showed that the variables such as people's responsibility, sociological behaviors, education and traditional religious values influence on environmental protection and behaviors. But on the other hand, results showed that modeling variable has no effect on environmental protection. It can be concluded that peoples behaviors especially environmental behaviors are originated from their culture and  plays an important role in this regard.

Values have very important functions in any society. The significance  becomes so clear when a society has been exposed to changes and strengthening social cohesion is viewed as an essential subject. Great changes as the Islamic Revolution and the Imposed War have been happened in Iran during last several decades. In this line, generations can be understood via  direct or indirect experience of social actors concerning the indicated affaires or other criteria. Therefore, Is there any generation gap between generations or not?”Through meta-analysis, this essay investigates Iran social change in the aspect of values transition from generation gap or generation difference perspective. The following aims help to the idea:To study and describe original concepts in values and generation areas.To review the explaining theories of generation affairs and to compare them.To examine previous experimental research regarding generation subjects including generation difference, gap and separation.The results reject generation gap or separation, Thus Values and attitudes conflict among generation groups is not confirmed. The hypothesis of generation gap has not been verified by the majority of the conducted research. (The research findings support those researchers believe generation difference.)

The purpose of this research is the analysis of the effects of socio-economic factors on acculturation of pre students in Shiraz.In this research (after examining of the previous studies and existing theories) to explain the concept of acculturation the theories of Rogers and Bits have been used and also the socio-economic factors of Parson's theory have been applied. The research is in the form of survey method. In which 400 questionnaires were given to the students randomly. But regarding the sample size by using the Cochran formula (382 persons) 390 questionnaire were analyzed.Pearson correlation test, the rate of the parents' income, the family's cost of living, the parent's education and the use of computer and internet usage had a significant relationship with the students' acculturation.But the relationship between watching T.V, listening to the Radio, reading journals and the number of the people in family (sister and brother) from one hand with the student's acculturation was not confirmed either the results have shown that the nominal variables of mother's and father's occupation, and the parent's previous dwelling place have relation to the rate of acculturation. In regression multivariate test four variable: the mother's education, the parent's dwelling place, the whole income and the rate of internet usage explained 32. 84% of the changes in dependent variable.

Inequality of educational opportunities underlies the reproduction of social inequalities and deepens the gap of classes. The origin of the class can be one of the effective factors involved in. The aim of this paper is the study of the impact of family background on inequality of educational opportunities among students. We used the survey method and a questionnaire. We collected needed information from 300 female high school students in Ahar city.The findings show that the highest level of inequality of educational opportunities for students respectively has been in the school size, neighborhood and family, and the level of socioeconomic status is the most. Bivariate analysis (Pearson r=-0.414) and multivariate analysis (regression b=-0.313) indicated that there was a significant negative relationship between inequality of educational opportunities and socioeconomic status.In the path analysis, variable of socioeconomic status is the most important factor affecting the level of inequality of educational opportunities. With combined findings, the conflict and social and cultural reproduction theories are useful to explain the influence of socioeconomic status on inequality of educational opportunities.

This research studies the performing and Commitment of religious behavior and customs among high-school students and the effective factors involved in Zanjan. The research method is documenting and survey. For gathering data, we use questionnaire in the paper.The statistical methods applied here are Pearson coefficient correlation, and multivariate variables as well.About 376 samples were selected from Zanjan in 2011. The result show there are significant relationship between religious behaviour and socialization, social control, social solidarity and social revival.SPSS analysis shows those variable like social control, socialization social solidarity and social revival respect have the most effect on dependent variable. Girls show much more positive tendency toward performing religious behaviour.

One of the most important variable to achieve a sustainable and desirable city is the increasing of general or public information of citizens about civil rights and city regulations or municipal laws.Thus, this paper evaluates general and public information about civil rights and municipal laws to increase the effectiveness of future actions. The recent survey was done among people aged 20 to 35 in four important cities of Mazandaran province, using field studies. The research method is descriptive-analytical, using SPSS software as well.The results reveal that knowledge about civil rights in statistical society (group) is too low and the public information about the civil rights and municipal laws correlates with increasing Age (t=26.8) and gender (R=0.86) but this variable has no relation to Academic education (x2=4.89).

Since divorce demolishes the society’s most important social institution, it can be considered as the most important problem. Socialization may play a significant role increasing or decreasing social disorders such as divorce. because socialization agents are somehow different. This research focuses on the effects of socialization on divorce, family and satellite as the most widely influential media, and their interaction on the issue of divorce.Therefore required data were gathered from two groups of ordinary people and those who were at threshold of divorce, concerning Parson’s socialization theories, importance of family from view points of Gidden’s, cultivation theory, suddenly change of Durkheim and needs-expectations theory. The results show that satellite affects creation of modern values and consequently influences families and emergence of traditional values between the spouses.Also the results show that a well-managed interaction should be established between these two important wings of socialization in order to prevent suddenly changes and value contradiction as well as creating stability between dominating norms of the two spouses.
