The research purpose is to standardize "Oxford Happiness Inventory" amongst university students of Roudehen Azad University; thus, 500 individuals (250 males and 250 females) were selected through random stage sampling and then received and filled out "Oxford Happiness Inventory". The acquired results revealed that Alpha coefficient value for twenty nine questions is equal to 901%; Furthermore, the reliability coefficient value employing Cronbache's Alpha method is equal to %882 for male group and 916% for female group. The test's validity through construct validity demonstrates that the mentioned test has acceptable validity; Moreover, factor analysis proves that factor structure lays emphasis on one factor in measuring.

This study evaluated the effectiveness of sensitivity training group therapy & didactic group therapy in decreasing counselor's mistakes while providing their clients with counseling service; accordingly, forty five individuals (28 females & 17 males) working in the academic counseling centers were selected through random sampling & assigned to two experiment & one control groups. The results of the group therapy interventions indicated a significant between-group difference in both sensitivity training group therapy & didactic group therapy with control group in decreasing counselors' mistakes (mistakes with regard to inadequate psychological training & negative counter- transference).

The research purpose is to determine the role of religious attitude in predicting the locus of control; hence, the total sample comprised 121 individuals who had been selected through simple random sampling among from psychology students (clinical, exceptional, industrial and organizational). The three instruments employed were" Yung Religious Questionnaire, Rotter Questionnaire & Tendency to Monotheistic Citation questionnaire" The study revealed that there is a significant inverse relationship between cognitive-affective attitude & locus of control. The role of religious attitude would also explain 10.8% of the changes in the locus of control.

The research purpose was to investigate the relationship between different styles of emotional expressiveness & general health; therefore, our samples comprised 287 students aged 18-30, which had been selected among from Azad University of Roudehen in the academic year, ran from 87 to 88. The four instruments employed were "Emotional Control Questionnaire, Emotional Expressiveness Questionnaire, Ambivalence on Emotional Expressiveness Questionnaire & General Health Questionnaire" the obtained results indicated that emotional control & emotional expressiveness were significantly positively correlated with general health; however, ambivalence on emotional expressiveness was strongly negatively correlated with general health.

The study evaluated the efficacy of transactional-analytical group therapy in marital satisfaction; therefore, sixteen couples were randomly selected among from those referred to psychological & counseling centers & grouped into experiment & control groups. Having been provided with transactional-analytical group therapy, the experiment group then underwent the treatment in eight two-hour sessions while the control group didn't receive any treatment. Evaluating the results verifies that experiment group's marital satisfaction has significantly increased as compared to the control group; what's more, monitoring the situation proved lasting & long-term changes.

The present study was carried out to determine the efficacy of emotion-focused couple therapy training with regard to sexual satisfaction among couples. The sample population was drawn from the couples referred to the private & governmental counseling centers of Shiraz, having been married for at least one year & maximum 10 years, out of which 16 couples (32 individuals) who had scored below average in "Marital Satisfaction Questionnaire" were randomly selected & assigned to experiment & control groups. The experiment group then attended ten ninety-minute emotion-focused couple therapy sessions. Results support the effectiveness of emotion-focused interventions in increasing couples' sexual satisfaction, additionally, this efficacy was more observed among women rather than men.       

Here, we examined the components of emotional intelligence as predictors of drug abuse; thus, 276 male & female individuals who were addicted to moderating drugs (opium, heroin...) & non-moderating drugs (marijuana, cocaine,…) were selected through multi-stage cluster sampling, it's worth mentioning that this sample was drawn from a larger one referred to the private & governmental centers of Isfahan to come off drug. Results demonstrated that drug abuse is negatively correlated with problem-solving component; furthermore, an analysis of logistic regression indicated that only problem-solving component is able to predict non-moderating drug abuse.

Background:  Methamphetamine increases libido and reckless sexual behaviors. Narcotics can also be effective in this case by reducing the feeling of anxiety, hostility and aggression. The purpose of this research is to compare sexual behaviors and sexual recklessness of narcotic and amphetamine abusers.Method: The research was performed as a comparative study on 80 men (40 Amphetamine and 40 Narcotic abusers). Therefore, the required data was collected through the administration of “Sexual Behavior “ and it was then followed by the analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results: Compared with Narcotics consumption, taking Amphetamines increases the sexual desire along with sexual misconduct; however, no between-group differences were found with regard to high-risk sexual behaviors. Conclusion:  Amphetamine abuse can arouse the desire to have and being heavily engaged in sexual behaviors. It can also create a defective cycle including aspiration-excitation. In this condition, having high-risk sexual behaviors would raise the possibility of STDs, an issue that can also be noticed in Narcotic abusers. It seems possible that we are able to prevent the individuals from going through this cycle by providing effective sexual training and enhancing their awareness.
