Abstract

 The research purpose is to determine the role of RELIGIOUS ATTITUDE in predicting the LOCUS OF CONTROL; hence, the total sample comprised 121 individuals who had been selected through simple random sampling among from psychology students (clinical, exceptional, industrial and organizational). The three instruments employed were" Yung Religious Questionnaire, Rotter Questionnaire & Tendency to Monotheistic Citation questionnaire" The study revealed that there is a significant inverse relationship between cognitive-affective attitude & LOCUS OF CONTROL. The role of RELIGIOUS ATTITUDE would also explain 10.8% of the changes in the LOCUS OF CONTROL.
