Obsessive compulsive disorder is a debilitating disorder that indicated by unwanted, involuntary, and involuntary thoughts, impulses and images. There is a lot of evidence of the damage to executive functions of obsessive-compulsive disorder and there seems there is a defect in verbal and verbal memory in obsessive-compulsive disorder. The purpose of the present study was to provide a structural model of the relationships between concentration components and attention shift with the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder and visual-verbal memory in the clinical population. For purpose this, in a descriptive study of correlation type selected 280 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder among clinics and psychiatrists in Urmia city by available exampling and were tested in terms of signs of obsessive-compulsive disorder and attention control and verbal -verbal paired associations. Pearson correlation coefficient and structural equations modeling showed that have a signification relationship between verbal memory and visual memory in the from directly and indirectly related to mediating attention control with OCD symptoms. It seems attention focusing and changing attention can be Mediator role as a mediator variable in the relationship between obsessive-compulsive disorder and visual and verbal memory.

Abstract:

It seems that in a normal population and in the absence of unusual behavioral symptoms, Machiavellianism, narcissistic traits, and psychopathy can be considered as a single trait. This combination is generally called the Dark triad of personality. The aim of this study is to determine the role of the Dark triad of personality in the attitude toward infidelity and marital intimacy. For this purpose, in a descriptive-correlational study, 150 couples applying for divorce that were referred to counseling and psychological services centers in Tabriz selected by available sampling method and then evaluated subjects dimensions of the dark triad personality, marital intimacy and attitudes to infidelity respectively. The results of correlation and multiple regression analysis showed that there is an negative relationship between intimacy and Dark triad characters. The dimensions of psychopathy and narcissism could predict 18 percent of intimacy changes. Also, significant relationship were found between the attitude toward infidelity and dark triad of personality. Research revealed that Machiavelli and narcissistic were predict 17 percent of the attitude to infidelity changes. Abstract:

Bing teased during childhood might be such an Experiences that play a significant role in the development of beliefs about oneself and the world. The current study aimed to investigate Depression - anxiety symptoms and its relationship with Childhood Teasing experiences. To this aim, with a descriptive-correlational study 201 students of University of Tehran (male and female) were selected by convenience sampling method and evaluated in Teasing experiences, Depression and anxiety. Results of correlation and Simultaneous regression analysis revealed that Positive and mutual relationships between Teasing experiences, anxiety and depression were found. The findings are indicated that four Teasing subscales explained 19/8 percent of depression variance and 17.1 percent of anxiety variance. These results support and extend previous findings the linking between Depression - anxiety symptoms and its relationship with Childhood Teasing experiences.

Abstract:

Eating disorder is referred to as inappropriate attitudes and eating behaviors that defined as an eating disorder chain. The role of positive and negative psychological variables in the incidence of eating disorders has been seriously addressed by researchers in the field of general health. The purpose of this study was to present a conceptual model and test it’s for eating behaviors based on self-compassion, perfectionism and body dissatisfaction. To this aim, a descriptive study was conducted on 245 female students of Bu-Ali Sina University in Hamedan. They were selected through convenience sampling and evaluated for self-compassion, eating disorder behaviors, body dissatisfaction and perfectionism. The results of studying the relationships of variables by structural equation model showed that the self-compassion variable is directly related to perfectionism and body dissatisfaction and has indirect relationship with eating behaviors through perfectionism and body dissatisfaction.Perfectionism has direct relationship with body dissatisfaction and eating behaviors, and has indirect relationship with eating behaviors through body dissatisfaction. Also body dissatisfaction is directly related to eating behaviors. In general, can be said that, in self-compassion, goals and standards are at the expected level and avoided of being perfect, thus it has a negative correlation with perfectionism and body dissatisfaction and it can reduce the amount of perfectionism and body dissatisfaction by influencing on these variables, and in this way, can play an important role in reducing the tendency to eating disorder behaviors.

Abstract:

Irritable bowel syndrome is a common functional gastrointestinal disorder that affects approximately 10%-15% of the population. IBS has a significant burden of disease on health system, patients and their families. Psychological and social factors have important role on etiology and treatment of IBS. The aim of present study was investigation on the relationship between illness perception, hope and forgiveness in interpersonal relationships with symptom severity in patients with irritable bowel syndrome. Type of study was descriptive and correlational and subjects of study were 70 (20 men, 50 women) patients who referred to functional gastrointestinal clinic of psychosomatic research center of Isfahan university of medical sciences and gastroenterology clinics of Isfahan city. The patients selected by available sampling and evaluated by illness perception, hope, forgiveness in interpersonal relationships and gastrointestinal symptom severity of IBS. Results showed that symptom severity of IBS have significant correlations with illness perception, hope and forgiveness in interpersonal relationships. Symptom severity of IBS could predicted by score variation of forgiveness, hope and illness perception. Findings of present study supported the relations of subscales of illness perception, hope and forgiveness with symptom severity of irritable bowel syndrome.

Abstract:

test anxiety is a kind of mental self-employment which is characterized by self-underestimation and doubts about one’s capabilities and often leads to negative cognitive evaluation, lack of concentration, improper physical reactions and a decline in educational performance. Various methods have been proposed to reduce anxiety. One of these methods is called mindfulness. Mindfulness means to intentionally focus and openly concentrate on the occurrence of thoughts, feeling, and excitements without any judgments in the present. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of mindfulness on reducing students’ test anxiety. to this end, a semi-experimental study with pre-test, post-test and control group was performed, 33 students were selected by the accessible sampling and were applied randomly to the test group and control group. The subjects were assessed in terms of test anxiety, Perceived threat of test and looming threat style before and after conducting the study. The control group, in the presence of a psychologist, attempted to practice mindfulness during the first ten minutes of the class as a group and then talked to the instructor about their worries about the test ten minutes. No intervention was performed in the control group. The covariance analysis results indicate that training mindfulness can have a significant effect on reducing students’ test anxiety and Perceived threat of test. It seems that while learning mindfulness, the capacity and ability of the information processing system increases and these exercises can in turn, act as primary alarm system and initiate a mental conflict against anxiety.
