The intent of this research is investigating the role of gated communities in promoting safer communities.There are contradicting statistics about the impact of gated communities on security and social cohesion of their residents. To examine these relations in this research, gated and non-gated communities were compared. This empirical study was conducted in two contradictory urban districts in Shiraz, south of Iran and included eight gated communities. Some 400 families were chosen among 14’000 households living in the sampled communities and their neighboring areas. The socio-economical characteristics of these families and the physical features of their residential area were statistically analyzed against the crime rate. The result of this study indicated that gated communities are successful in increasing perceived security in Iranian cities, especially when they are provided with formal surveillance. Feeling security among their residents was directly influenced by level of formal control on gates and Social factors (e.g. social cohesion, neighboring, and sense of community). Among physical features of the gated communities, foramal survillence on gates has the most impression on the security of communities. Although there were no significant difference in qulity of physical environment between gated and non-gated communities, social cohesion were much more in gated communities.

The aim of this article is recognition and analysis of legality rate among citizens of west Azarbayejan province. The theories of sociology and psychology were used for explaining the citizens' legality. Statistical group are all citizens of west Azarbayejan province (between 20-75 years old includes 2145012 persons) that randomly 800 persons were selected and then analyzed. This study has survey method and researcher made questionnaire as tool for collecting data.The important results show that: there is meaningful relationship between legality with generality of law, fear of punishment, person's religion, obedience of law because of his/her recognition and awareness. In this article has proceed on the genre of topic to police duties and finally according to the results, some solution were suggested in order to increasing the legality.

The aim of this research is analyzing Cooperation between family and police in prevention from social harm in Iran.Increasing the rates of divorces shows that the divorce has become as a social harm and it affects on the other social harm. The findings show that secondary analysis of data proves that broken families are the most important factor in creation of social harm in Iran. Prevention of social harm in Iran is not available just with family education. Especially the families are infected with divorce, violence, poor sentiment and so on. Police and family, as a tow major institution in sociality of people, should have a close relationship with together in prevention from social harm in Iran.

Child abuse is related to several factors that make irreparable problems for Children and juveniles who are at risk. Research method is case study manner. The statistical groups are the Children and juveniles who were abused by their parents. The sample group includes 65 persons. Research tools are MMPI2, Rion, Veskler, Psycho-social status questionnaire and child Psychological status questionnaire. The results show that: child abuse in childhood ages is more than juvenile ages. The age of Children abused are related to the kind of Children abuse. And the age of Childs and juveniles who were abused are in poor social, economic and family position. The Children and juveniles, who were abused, have emotional, behavioral, learning, social and personality problems. Community-oriented Policing measures have effective impact in prevention from child abuse in Iran.But for prevention from child abuse in Ira, there are some challenges that some of them are related to cultural, legal and protection affairs.

Nowadays, that is called as a communication and information age. The most important tool of cultural activities is mass communication. Which their role is important from criminologists, Lawyers, and officials of security and order affairs view point. And criminologists have analyzed mass communication tools as social factors of crime. The aim of this article is recognizing the positive and negative effects of mass communication and crime prevention in the society and optimum use of these mass media can be effective factor in reduction of crimes.The method of this article is based on documentary manner. Mass communication (depend on how to broadcasting of news and incidents) can increasing insecurity sense, delinquency and crime or can reduce crimes and increasing security sense with doing the positive role of notifying and expanding health life pattern in the society. Generally, view points of people depend on what is broadcasted and printed by mass communication.

The aim of this article is introducing the method (model of structural equations) police services function with view to taken and results, personnel's participation and use of problem solving criterion. Reformation of consumption model is a principal title that needs the strategic management and the strategic mutation management involves: reformation of structures, processes and making strategies. Research is fundamental- practical and the method is based on surveying manner. The results show that: there is meaningful relationship between culturally, sociality; social order and social productivity from presumption. In developing social productivity, the factor of energy presumption control is as a important element that should observe from view point of cultural, sociality and social order. Presumption management is important from view point of cultural, sociality and social order and Presumption management control would result in developing productivity.

The aim of this article is introducing the views of researchers and scientists and utilizing their opinion in exploring some new social phenomena. Unlike psychology, emotion has been studied less in sociology. There is not any research about the ability of emotion power in creating ordered social changes and guiding them to promoting new community. So one of them is community-oriented policing. As interaction between police with citizens is a complex phenomenon of contemporary community so studying these can be helpful in clearing these tensions. And the author believes the following positive elements of community-oriented policing in charter of mentioned principles are: producing Pease sense in community, protection of persons at risk (homeless, Children, divorced women…), solving social disputations, planning for crime prevention, use of soft war in social debates, making educational packages for more interaction with citizens, technical, scientific preparation in face with emergency and crisis (accidents, natural crisis).
