Introduction & Objective: Migration and engraftment have a vital role in tissue regeneration and transplantation and CXCR4 is a known chemokin receptor in making and increasing homing and engraftment of cells into damaged tissue or wounds. CXCR4 expresses in low level on human MSCs, but we show here that CXCR4 expression by hBM MSCs up-regulates through exposure to TNF-a in a dose and time dependent manner.Materials and Methods: Cultured hBM MSCs were divided into 9 groups. One group was un treated and the others treated with 1 ng/ml and 10 ng/ml TNF-a in 2, 10, 24 and48 hours. Total mRNA was extracted and cDNA synthesized. Then rate of CXCR4 expression compared with housekeeping gene (b-actin) by Real Time PCR.Results: In untreated hMSCs CXCR4 expressed in low level. In treated hMSCs with 1ng/ml TNF-a in 2, 10, 24 and 48 hours CXCR4 expression was increased respectively 32, 64, 256,32 fold and with 10 ng/ml increased 16, 32, 512, 32 fold. The highest level of CXCR4 gene expression found after treatment with 10 ng/ml TNF-a in 24h was highly increased (2-DDCt=512).Conclusion: These finding indicate that in vitro control of both dose and time factors may be important in future-stem cell transplantation therapies.

Inroduction & Objective: Sardines and other microfilidae have very important ecological role in marine ecosystems because they are first consumers in marine food chain and they are the main food of valuable species as tuna. So decries in their population will decline fishing of these spices. There are 10 genus of Cloupeidae in south of Iran and Sardinella sindensis is the one of the most abundant of them. In this study we investigated about morphological differences in population of this species.Materials and Methods: About 63 specimens from three regions of its distribution: Jask (Oman sea), Qeshm (Hormoz) and Lengeh (Pearsian golf) have been collected. Morphological research of their characters and statistical studies were done with One-way ANOVA and MANOVA.Results: Statistical studies show a meaningful morphological difference between characters and also a cline from Lengeh to Jask port which might be a result of creation of subpopulation in this fish. Post- hoc analysis show that in all characters jask has a meaningful different with gheshm and lengeh. On the base of Perinciple component TL, FL,StL, BD and SL play more important role in diversity in 3 region.Regarding to claster analysis we unrestood that the population of 3 region are seprated from the each other. Conclusion: Such a situation might be result of Monsoon, Upwelling and better weather which occur in Oman Sea in spite of Persion golf. So this might be an aspect of creation of sub population in Sardinella sindensis in Persian golf and Oman Sea.

Introduction & Objective: Chitons are important for medical research because exist of chitosan and chitin in it's shell. Because of importance of angiogenesis and since Angiogenesis is a complex process involving extensive interplay between cell soluble factors and extra cellular matrix (ECM) components. In this study, we investigated the angiogenic response induced by Synergic effects of chiton's shell extract and acellular brain scaffolds implanted onto the chick chorioallantoic membrane.Materials and Methods In this experimental study, the rat brain was decellularized. we used 50 fertilized eggs that were divided into 5 groups: control, sham-exposed1, sham-exposed2, experimental 1,and experimental 2. In the 12nd day of incubation, the numbers and lengths of vessels around the sponges were measured by Image J software, data were analyzed with SPSS (version 16) and by statistic test such as ANOVA and Tukey results in significant level P<0.05.Results: Mean number (10.34±1.85) and length(13.12±2.04 mm) of vessels in the control with number(6.06±1.36) and length(9.76±1.21mm) of vessels in the experimental group 1 showed a significant decrease (p<0.001). Mean number and length of vessels in the control with number (8.75±1.04) and length(11.43±1.42mm) of vessels in the experimental group 2 showed a significant decrease (p<0.05).Conclusion: Results indicate that synergic usage of shell extract of Chiton Lamyi and acellular brain decrease angiogenesis in chorioallantoic membrane.

Introduction & Objective: Usually the life duration of the fish species are faced with the problem of starvation naturally. Usually the case in winter, when during long migration to spawning and feeding on the living environment, decreased occur because of different reasons and cause severe loss of body energy reserves in fish.Material and Methods: Experiments were done in five groups and three replications: Control: 5 weeks full feeding Group 1: One week starvation + One week feeding, group 2: Two weeks starvation + One week feeding, group 3: Three weeks starvation + One week feeding, group 4: Four weeks starvation + One week feeding. The amount of dissolved oxygen was fixed on 5.5 - 6 ppm, the temperature 24-28oC and pH 7.5 to 8 were so controlled through the experiment. Carps fry were fed during the experimental period in control and compensatory growth times with commercial food (containing: 8.7 % moisture, 11.2 % ash, 32 % protein and 10.5 % fat). Results: The results of carcass quality showed that there are significant difference at protein, fat, ash and fiber in different groups (P<0.05). The results showed that increase of starvation period causes a decrease at protein, fat, ash and fiber an increase ash carcass. Also, results showed that increase of starvation period causes a decrease carcass quality and survival in Cyprinus carpio fry.

Introduction & Objective: Multiple sclerosis is a progressive, autoimmune neurodegenerative disease in central nervous system (CNS). Experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) is a widely accepted animal model for MS. New observations suggest that cobolamins (derivatives of vitamin B12) may modulate the responses of oxidative stress. Regarding the role of vitamin B12 in the formation of myelin sheet, modulation of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-a) and its role in the regulating the immune reactions and anti-oxidant role, this compound is used in the present study as an agent on rat model EAE.Material and Methods: The guinea pig spinal cord homogenate (GPSCH) was used for induction EAE in Lewis rats. EAE was induced in 40 rats, randomly placed in four groups and treatment with vitamin B12. The treatment started from the first day post immunization by GPSCH-CFA and lasted until the tenth day. The ELISA was used for the data assessment. Data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical program (version 17 for Windows). In all the cases for comparison between different groups, Mann-Whitney U test was used. Significance level was set at p<0.05 throughout the experiment. Results: A meaningful decrease observed in seminiferous tubules diameter pipes in the 45 mg/kg concentration, germinal diameter layer in experimental groups and the number of spermatogony, primary spermatocyte, sperm and leydig in experimental groups in comparison to control group(0.05>p). The percentage of the moving sperms, the percentage of the sperm's genetic substance and the sperms’ morphology demonstrated a meaningful reduction in experimental groups and the hormones assesments. Conclusion: In this study, we showed that the treatment of EAE with vitamin B12 decreased the symptoms of disorder, pathological changes, level of serum TNF-a.
