Studying of corals health (Stag horn coral) of Kish Island, is done in front of Bageh – Parandegan site (54 02 405, 26 03 078 – 54 02 158, 56 03 825) during a period of one year from winter 2007to winter 2008, seasonally. Coral Watch Method (C.W.M) for survey coral health and quadrate for studying opportunist organisms settlement are used for this study in each transect and subtransect. Resulting of coral bleaching is shown that started with 10 percent in spring and continued with 90 percent of D1 Index in winter this phenomenon also 10 percent of coral communities were living. Also settlement of Entromorpha sp. and spate of petriidae families with continuing corals bleaching are observed that estimated 15 and 68 percent for Entromorpha sp. and 865 and 10 per 1 m*m for pteriidae family in summer and winter of 2008, respectively. Parameters of temperature, salinity, turbidity and chlorophyll a by the CTD apparatus were measured in each season. Main results of Principal Components Analysis (PCA) relations with the impacts parameters of temperature, salinity, turbidity and chlorophyll a in the development of a coral bleaching, the effect of temperature components identified more than 81 percent.

Abstract:

In this study, ionic parameters (Na+, K+, Mg+2, and Ca+2) and metabolite factors (cholesterol, total protein, and glucose) of serum and their interrelationships were detected in 48 specimens of Liza klunzingeri captured from Bandar Abbas coastal water(Persian Gulf).Blood sampling was conducted by cutting the caudal peduncle of each sample, and blood was collected into heparinized and sterile capillary glass tubes. Results indicated that values of Na+, Ca+2, K+, and Mg+2 revealed the highest to the lowest content in blood serum of Liza klunzingeri, respectively. Cholesterol concentration was higher than glucose and the latter was estimated more than total protein. Na+ was positively correlated with Mg+2 (P<0.01), whereas it shows reversed correlations with glucose (P<0.01) and pH (P<0.05). Mg+2 had a significant and positive relationship with the ratio of Na+ to K+ and Ca+2 to K+ ratio (P<0.05) while it represented a reverse correlation with pH (P<0.01) and glucose (P<0.05). The correlation between the ratio of Na+ to K+ and Ca+2 to K+ ratio was positive (P<0.01) and Ca+2 concentration correlated positively with total protein (P<0.05).Concerning to the relationships between ionic and metabolite factors on reproductive cycle, acid–alkaline balance, and growth and osmoregulation in Liza klunzingeri, the results deduced in the present trail might improve reproductive and cultivation management of this valuable species.

Abstract:

This study was carried out for the preparation of chromosomal expansion of freshwater Shrimp (Caridina fossarum) from its egg and larvae stages. It is used immersion method rather than injecting one due to the small size of the shrimp. This study was proceeded up to the observation of cells, broken cells and eventually chromatids. The case of working with the cells of egg, the cell was not observed because it can be hard chitin membranes around eggs, sudden mortality of eggs cell in stage of the immersion.

Abstract:

This experiment was aimed to determine the effect of Lactobacillus bacteria as probiotic on resistance of white shrimp (litopenaeus vannamei) larvae against stress tests in The Persian Gulf and Oman Sea Ecology Research center. In this study the white shrimp larvae were feed on 6 times a day from mysis1 to post-larvae5 stages by 2 experiment treatments named A (with enriched rotifer by probiotic) and B (with enriched rotifer by probiotic & probiotic powder dissolved in water) and control or C with three replicates in 20-L plastic tanks containing 10-L of seawater with 50 larvae per liter. At the end of period (after 8 days) the shrimp larvae were tested by salinity (10 & 45 ppt) and formalin (100ppm) stress. The result indicated that the used probiotic bacteria had positive and significant effects on resistance of shrimp (P<0.05) the survival rate and resistance against salinity and formalin stress of containing pribiotic treatments (A&B) were significantly higher than control (P<0.05). The highest survival and resistance were founded in B treatment but it had no significant difference with A (P>0.05). This study showed that using of probiotic has good effect on survival rate and resistance of white shrimp larvae.
