In this report, the Gaussian model, and the model of smoke column rising are used to estimate dispersion and movement of gases pollutant materials from the stacks of Bisat Power Station (located in South - Tehran). ASME and Briggs correlations are used for estimating of the rising of the smoke column. Sampling of the windborne gases around the stacks are done on the basis of ASME standards. On the basis of Gaussian model, a proposed dispersion coefficient, and correlation of smoke-column rising, the concentrations of the gas materials in the stacks are calculated. The calculated results in stability classes of B and D with the experimental results are comprised. In stability class B, the Briggs correlation has good confidency with the experimental results. In stability class D, the PG.ASME correlation has good estimation with the experimental results.
