This project evaluates the factors which affect the consumption of cultural goods. The main objective of the study is to find out the role of some individual and social factors such as age, gender, marital status, education, leisure, and income in the rate of the consumption of cultural goods among the youths. This is a survey research. The population of the study was 88404 ranging from 18 to 29 years old in Khoy and the sample size was 382 people according to Cochran formula. Random cluster sampling appropriate to the volume was used and the main instrument of data collection was a standard questionnaire. The data analysis was done through statistical methods appropriate to the level of measuring variables. The findings represent that, there is a relationship between the age and education of the youths and the consumption of the cultural goods, as the rate of the consumption of the cultural goods in 26 to 29 year old youths is higher than 18 to 21 year old youths meaningfully. Furthermore, the results imply that, the consumption of cultural goods is higher in postgraduates significantly. However, there is no significant relationship between gender, marital status, income and the consumption of cultural goods.
