Abstract:

Following the tweet of the U. N. hunger agency chief, David Beasley that the 2% of Elon Musk’, s total worth would end world hunger, the feasibility of this idea is briefly evaluated. In our opinion, based on the present data, money aid or investments do not solve the world hunger problem due to several factors such as inequality and international trade rules. Hence, more fundamental solutions need to be proposed while having a fact-based worldview by looking up to countries with low food insecurity and relatively low resources.
