The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of group narrative therapy on body dysmorphic concern in student of shahid chamran university.Method: Among about 1520 students, 212 female students selected randomly by multistage method. Then Participants completed BICI and 40 students with high BICI score (one standard deviation above mean score of group), divided into experimental and control groups. Results After 10 session of group narrative therapy, results of ANCOVA were statistically significant at p<0.001.Conclusion: Therefore, it is suggested that group narrative therapy decreased body dysmorphic concern in experimental group compare with the control group. The results showed that group narrative therapy intervention can reduce body dysmorphic concern.

Abstract:

Objective: Present study has been done to study of the relationship of social support with coping strategies in patients with diabetes type 2.Method: In this correlation research, sample was included 400 patients that were selected through random cluster sampling. For gathering data was used of Vaux & et al social support scale and Lazarus-Folkman coping strategies test. To data analyze statistically, Pearson’s correlation coefficient and multivariate regression were employed. Results: The results indicated that social support has a significant positive correlation with seeking social support, accepting responsibility, planful problem solving and positive reappraisal and has not a significant correlation with confrontive coping and distancing, has a significant positive correlation with self-controlling and has a significant negative correlation with escape-avoidance. In addition, the regression analysis showed that others support and family supports are the best predictors of problem-oriented coping. Conclusion: Regarding the findings, through the consultation can help diabetic patients to have social support and can cope with disease stresses.

Objective: The present study examined the effectiveness of cognitive - behavioral intervention based on the model of Marla at and mindfulness-based on cognitive therapy for mental health, in male clients were dependent on crack undergoing MMT.Method: dependence of the crack according to DSM-IVTR criteria, have been chosen after successfully detoxified. They were divided two experimental groups (30 subjects) and a control group (15 subjects) that have been selected using sampling method. The first experimental groups were undergone mindfulness- based on cognitive therapy and the second experimental groups which were undergone marl at relapse prevention intervention. The control group were just received MMT without any psychotherapy. All subjects in the study were assessed by Demography, GHQ-28 Questionnaires before treatment, after treatment and after a 3-month follow up stage. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods, Analysis of variance with repeated measurements, ANOVA and chafe. Results: Results showed that mindfulness-based on cognitive therapy and cognitive-behavioral intervention based on the model of Marla at, increased rate of mental health return to 0.05 significance level in male crack addictions are more effective than just MMT.

Abstract:

Objective: The predective role of emotional intelligence in cardiovascular disease was studied.Method: for this goalThe sample that contained 102 subjects were selected from cardiovascular diseases and normal individuals by avileble sampling method and responded to Bar-On (Baron, R. 1997) Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire. Results: The results indicated that age and education are related with disease, but the relation of education with disease is not original because the recent relation is due to relation two variables with age, discrimination between emotional intelligence skills in prediction of disease has a special importance, increase in all of emotional intelligence skills is associated with decrease of probablity of disease, The role of self-actualization, problem solving and happiness components is independent from other components in this relation and the pattern of relation between emotional intelligence and disease is equal in male and femail. Conclusion: These findings indicate the role of inforcement of emotional intelligence skills in prevention of disease and press on ipmportance of intervention among high risk groups as a preventional approach.

Abstract:

Objective: The aim of this study is to find out the impact of adherence to Islamic beliefs through Healthy Lifestyle on University students' tendency to drug consumption of Payam-e-Noor University (PNU) of Ardebil.Method: This study was done among about 8000 Students studying in the second semester of current academic year (2009-2010) in Ardabil Payam Noor University, but just about 400 of them were selected through cluster random Method as a statistical sample. Sample size was calculated in accordance with Gerjesy-Morgan table, where a is a=0.05. The research went on correlated-descriptive method. Total average were used collected data was reported descriptively, however, the main questions of the research were analyzed inferentially using linear analysis. Results: The results showed that there is a direct and significant negative relationship adherence to Islamic beliefs and attitudes among students towards drug use. There are a negatively correlated and significant relationship between healthy life styles and student attitudes toward drug use. Conclusion: Phenomena tend to consume drugs is a complex phenomenon and many factors are involved in causing or preventing it. However, the statistics of most of the variables under study, a significant relationship between two variables is calculated, however, when variables are grouped together, and the real factors affecting drug disposition provide they influence each other in different directions causes the calculated values are lower number.

Mindfulness is related to psychological health, well-being and pain suffering reduction, and specially physical diseases.Method: Two questionnaires were used in this study including of five facet mindfulness questionnaire (Baer et al, 2006) and well-being questionnaire (Tabasi, 1383). 105 students of shahed university with average age of 20.25 (Sd=1.47) participated in this study. Data were analyzed by using SPSS 15 for windows with using of pearson correlation test. Results: Results showed that mindfulness is a strong predicator for well- being. also allof correlations between well-being and mindfulness total score was significant and positive. The result indicates that mindfulness correlated positively and significantly with well-being.Conclusion: Furthermore, the findings will be theoretically discussed in comparison with previous studies. Mindfulness could be a method for decreasing stress and improving well-being and the health psychology.

Abstract:

Objective: Obesity is one of the problems which restricted the health. In this paper, the alexithymia and body image have been studied in the obese, over-weight and normal subjects.Method: For this purpose, 214 subjects including 73 obese, 61 over-weight and 80 normal persons were selected. The data were collected using the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) and Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ). The data were analyzed by SPSS and used the MANOVA to analysis the data. Results: Results showed that the alexithymia in the obese, over-weight and normal groups have not a significant difference. Also, there was a significant difference between groups in the body image in its sub-scale including appearance evaluation, fitness evaluation, fitness orientation, subjective weight and body areas satisfaction. On the other hand, there was no significant difference in appearance orientation sub-scale.Conclusion: There was no a significant difference between groups in the alexithymia variable. It is explained that alexithymia is an independent personality trait which has not relative with appearance and body shape. There was a significant difference in the groups in the body image due to body shape of the obese subjects.
