Abstract: 

Academic identity is a reflection of variations of competence, autonomy, relatedness goals, self-efficacy beliefs, and emotional experiences presented in the interactions between adolescents and their teachers and peers and are characterized by how adolescents perform in academic areas. The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometrics properties of academic identity status measure. For this reason 450 students (229 girls, 221 boys) were selected through cluster sampling from population of first year high school students in Azna city. They completed the academic identity status measure (AIS) and identity style inventory (ISI-G6). After confirming the content validity of the academic identity status measure, the results showed good model fit to data. Cross-correlations of academic identity statuses and correlation of academic identity statuses to identity styles, identity commitment and academic achievement of students provided evidence of convergent and divergent validity of the academic identity status measure. The reliability coefficients of the questionnaire subscales were calculated using two methods of internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha) and test-retest reliability. Reliability was strong for identity achieved, foreclosed and diffuse status, and moderate for the identity moratorium. According to the findings, Academic Identity Status Measure has an acceptable validity and reliability in Iranian students.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the research was to check the efficient of psychometric indexes of the child form of Alabama Parenting Questionnaire (APQ) to use for Iranian sample. The sample consisted of 773 students with a mean age 14.5. To have the Persian form for APQ at the first step the English child form of APQ was translated to Persian and then the Persian form was back-translated to English. All participants were asked to fill out the Persian form of the APQ. Exploratory factor analysis was used to study the factor structure of the Persian form of APQ. The questionnaire showed a six-factor model. These factors named positive parenting, father involvement, corporal punishment, poor monitoring, authoritarian, and awareness about each other. These factors showed a good convergent and divergent validity by correlating with family process scale. Also test-retest reliability and Alpha coefficient indexes revealed efficient reliability for the APQ for Iranian sample. In sum the child form of APQ is a useful psychometric instrument for Iranian sample.

Abstract: 

The aim of the present article was to survey and explanation of the role of philosophy in Constructing "Islamic psychology" The main questions of this study were: 1) which meanings can be deduced from the concept of Islamic psychology? 2) What is the relationship between philosophy and each meaning? 3) What are the necessities in the process of Constructing and producing Islamic psychology? The research method of this study is philosophical analysis and the approach of it, is deductive. The results of this study showed that we can suppose 5 meanings of Islamic Psychology. These meanings are: 1) A collection of taughts of "Koran" and "Sonnat" which are related to identity of human being and also psychological concepts.2) to deduce psychological implications from concepts and taughts of "Koran" and "Sonnat". 3) A collection of thoughts of moslem thinkers which are related to self and psychological characters of human being.4) To deduce psychological implications from the moslems thinker's thoughts.5) Islamic psychology as a branch of "religious science". Also, analysis of the findings revealed that philosophical foundation is the base of all of the above meanings. So Constructing and producing Islamic psychology accordance with each meaning, depends on philosophy. Therefore, in the first step for Constructing and producing Islamic psychology, we should start from the traditional Islamic schools of philosophy (i.e.Masha- School). The other way is to revise. The traditional schools and third way is basically to develop new philosophical school or approach in the Islamic world.

Abstract: 

This research was administered' with the aim of studying the relationship between psychological contract, organizational commitment and job satisfaction with expectancy from organization and unethical behaviors, with considering the moderating role of protest opportunity. Research statistical population was the employees' of a productive company. Among them, 263 persons were selected via stratified random sampling. Research instruments consisted of; Researcher made of psychological contract, protest opportunity, expectancy from organization and unethical behaviors questionnaires, Spector's (1985) job satisfaction questionnaire: Speier and Yen Katesh's (2002) organizational commitment questionnaire. Data were analyzed using structure equation modeling (SEM) and hierarchical regression analysis. Results revealed that: 1. There are significant relations between psychological contract, organizational commitment and job satisfaction with expectancy from organization (P<0.01). 2. There are significant relations between expectancy from organization and psychological contract with unethical behaviors (P<0.01). 3. Protest opportunity has been moderate the relationship between expectancy from organization and unethical behaviors.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research was to study the mediating role of family communication in relation with family spirituality and family resilience. In order to examine the mediating role of the family communication, 398 parents of students in Kermanshah participated in the study. They were selected through a multi cluster sampling. These parents answered Family Resilience Assessment Scale (FRAS), Family Communication Scale (FCS), Sanctification of Marriage Scale and, Sanctification of Parenting Scale. Results of pearson correlation and simultaneous regression analyses (enter method) showed that family communication has a directly (b=0.20) and an indirectly (b=0.13) effect on family resilience. In sum, the results of the study confirm the mediating of family communication patterns for family spirituality and family resilience.

Abstract: 

This study was evaluating effectiveness of cognitive- behavior skills training on attitude, depression and mood in Methamphetamine addicts. Method: 36 patients diagnosed as suffering Methamphetamine dependence (according to DSM-IV- TR criteria) were randomly divided into 2 groups of 18, one as experimental group and the other as control group. Members of experimental group were undergone individual training for 12 sessions. They took Structured Clinical Interview for DSM (SCID II), Attitude change test, Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Emotional Quotient test (EQ-I) in session number 6 and number 12, and 90 days after termination of the therapy. Control group received no CBT during the study. Data collected were analysed by dependent-t, repeated measured. Results: Data show that there was statistical meaningful difference between means of experimental and control groups in research variables. The analysis of follow up data showed that these effects continued for three month. Conclusion: The results revealed that cognitive- behaviour skills training were effective in changing attitude, decreasing depression and improvement of mood.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of safety climate and conscientiousness on safety performance, considering mediating role of safety motivation. The sample of this study consisted of 332 employees of an industrial organization in Ahvaz which selected by stratified random sampling method. Participants completed Safety Climate, Conscientiousness, Safety Motivation and Safety Performance Questionnaire. The reliability and validity of all the scales were found acceptable. AMOS-16 and SPSS-17 were used for data analysis. Fitness of the proposed model was examined through structural equation modeling (SEM), the indirect effects were tested by using Baraon and Kenney procedure. Finding indicated that the proposed model has good fit indices, safety climate and conscientiousness have direct and indirect relations with the safety performance and safety motivation was found to be the key mediator in explaining these relationships.

Abstract: 

The goal of this study on the effect anti-anxiety of zolpidem morphine dependence is on the rise. In this study, 56 male mature mice (about 80 days old) with a weight of 30-35 grams were enrolled as the experimental, sham and the control groups. The experimental groups included 5 subgroups treated with either morphine, zolpidem with dose of minimum, zolpidem with dose of maximum, morphine+ zolpidem with dose of minimum and morphine + zolpidem with dose of maximum. Morphine was used for dependency and CCP method was used to estimate dependency. Results showed no meaningful difference between the control and the witness groups and between the control and zolpidem groups in preferring a special location to receive the drug. However, there was a meaningful difference (P<0.05) between the control and the morphine groups in preferring a location to receive morphine, and a meaningful attenuation was observed in the zolpidem+morphine groups in preferring the location for receiving the drug compared with the group receiving morphine alone. It seems that zolpidem as the GABA receptors agonist through inhibition of dopaminergic pathways is causes reduced CPP induced with morphine.
