CULTURE IN THE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY

Objectives: The author of the study aims at analyzing the feeling of shame and sin as moral and social unconscious excitements which are two key definitions in psychology. The paper attempts to predict moral excitements based on spiritual aspects.Method: The method of the research is descriptive correlative and the statistical community of the research includes 388undergraduate girls and boys at Shiraz University based on multi-stage cluster sampling method. Data collection is through spirituality scale. To determine reliability of measures, cronbach alpha coefficient was calculated and to examine validity, factor analysis method is used.Results: The results of the article indicate the relationship with others as a significant predictor of shame and negative excitement but the aspects like transcendence, meaning and aim and inner tranquility are not predictors of shamefulness .there is a positive significant relationship between the relation with others, transcendence, and meaningfulness and aim as the predictors of sinful feelings. The inner tranquility predicts the feeling of sin significantly.Conclusion: The authors of the present survey conclude that spirituality predicts the feeling of sinfulness positively and predicts the feeling of shamefulness negative.

Objectives: The present study aims to predict death anxiety based on spiritual intelligence of university and seminary students in Ardekan and Meybod city.Method: In this study, a sample of 188 people, including 89 undergraduate and 99 seminary students were selected using convenience sampling. They were asked to complete Spiritual Scale the Questionnaire of death Anxiety.Results: Multiple regression analysis showed that high ability to deal with problems (spiritual intelligence subscale) indicated low levels of death anxiety in people. The results of logistic regression showed that Ability to deal with problems, addressing ethical and self-Consciousness are good factors in predicting group membership which are university or Seminary students.Conclusion: The authors of the research conclude there are gender differences in the propensity of people to Seminary or universities; the findings revealed that men are more inclined to attend seminary.

Objectives: The present study aims at investigating the Effects of potential and practical abilities of student's societies on cultural engineering in universities from viewpoint of Tehran university students.Method: The method of the article is based on document studies and descriptive-analysis with survey method. The statistical community of the research includes 500 students (girls and boys). At Tehran University and Cochran formula with simple random sampling.Results: The results of the survey indicate: 1- difference between the abilities of student societies in cultural engineering effectiveness and their real effectiveness in university .2- difference between the abilities of student societies in cultural engineering effectiveness in cultural Aspect and their real effectiveness in university.3- difference between the abilities of student societies in cultural engineering effectiveness in social Aspect and their real effectiveness in university.4- difference between the abilities of student societies in cultural engineering effectiveness in political Aspect and their real effectiveness in university.Conclusion: The author of the article concludes as the rate of potential abilities of student's society's shift to practical; the effects on cultural engineering increases.

Objectives: The paper focuses on the relationship between the religious orientation and personality traits in Islamic Azad university and payame noor students of Damghan.Method: The method is correlation and the statistical community of this study included students, (boys &girls) of Azad university and payame noor(Damghan city) in academic year 1392-93. .the sample of the research is 250 students who are selected using simple random sampling. Data Collection tool is well-arranged questionnaire. Religious orientation test and neo personality test (5 major personality factors) is used as the tools of the research.Results: The results of the T test indicate no significant relationship between two sexes (men &women) in religious (faithfulness) structure (P>0.05). There is also no difference between the two universities due to their attitude toward religion (faithfulness) (P>0.05). Pearson correlation coefficient shows negative correlation between faithfulness and mental irritation personality (P<0.001).there is also a positive correlation between religious (faithfulness) structure and extroversion personality traits, loyalty and agreement (P<0.001).other results of the present research indicate no significant correlation between faithfulness and students flexibility trait. (P>0.05).at the end of the study loyalty is proved to be the best predictor variable for faithfulness.Conclusion: The authors of the article conclude: 1- there is no relationship between faithfulness of students and their sex and university.2- religious people are more extroverted, more loyal and enjoy the benefit of more mental health.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between university atmosphere and its influence on Isfahan university students' educational motivation.Method: Data collection method is cross-correlation. The population of this measurement includes 13281 students of Isfahan University which 373 students were selected as the study sample through random sampling and sample size estimation Cochran. In order to collect data, standard questionnaire, which was made by the researcher, was used. Then, content validity of that questionnaire was verified by experts and its reliability was estimated through Cronbach Alpha 0.87. SPSS.15 was used for data analysis.Results: The results indicated that generally there is a positive relationship between the university atmosphere and students' educational motivation. Moreover, in terms of evaluating the relationship between university atmosphere indexes and students' educational motivation, the results demonstrated that there is a direct relationship between each component of university atmosphere (Contact quality, cooperation quality, student-centeredness, emotional relations) and students' educational motivation.Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, the higher the level of university-related Contact quality, cooperative quality, student-centeredness, and emotional one, the higher the level of students' motivation will be.

Objectives: The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between moral intelligence and social capital with the responsibility in students at University of Kashan.Method: Research type is descriptive correlative. The statistical population consisted of 7132 students' in Universities of Kashan in academic year 2014-2015 that by Morgan table from the 7132, 364 ones were chosen by using stratified randomized sampling .Data collection tools are moral intelligence questionnaire with 40 items in 3 component (honesty, forgiveness & compassion), social capital questionnaire with 24 items in 4 components (social partnership, social integration, social belongings & social trust) and responsibility questionnaire with 42 items in 5 components (self-management, trusteeship, dutifulness, organizing & progressivism). Questionnaires content & construction validity confirmed. Reliability coefficients were obtained equal to 0.83 for moral intelligence, 0.87 for social capital and 0.91 for responsibility. Data analyses were used in descriptive level (frequency, percentage, mean & standard deviation) and inferential level (t-test, pearson correlation coefficient, regression, structural equation modeling & path analysis) through Spss and Amos software’s.Results: The findings of the research indicate that the average rate of moral intelligence; social capital and responsibility components are higher than theory average (3). There are positive and significant relationship between moral intelligence and social capital with responsibility.Conclusion: The author of the research concludes efforts to introduce and identify the status of moral intelligence and social capital in the development of student’s responsibility and its role in the future of academic life and career is very important.

Objectives: The present study aims to focus on Ideal pattern of student political culture from view point of Imam Khomeini.Method: The method of the research is descriptive and document analysis and library.Results: The results of the article indicate the most important features of ideal culture pattern and student political culture include: self-edification, healthy activities in political fields, pietism, independence, students and clergies unity, rejecting colonization, mental purification, deviation prevention in universities, unity among students groups and establishing an integrated Islamic national group, refinement in universities, Islamic knowledge, cooperative attitude, actualizing the true Islamic republic, social justice and Islamic training.Conclusion: The author of the research concludes to have an ideal university based on imam khomeni, s opinions and Islam; universities should be modified and refined.
