Economic costs, death, suicide, severe crimes, and unsuccessful marriages are somehow related to drug abuse and addiction. Some other phenomena like behavioral and psychological problems and physical diseases such as AIDS hepatitis and social problems are the consequences of drug abuse. The present study tries to determine the relationship between risky behavior and sensation and the tendency toward drug addiction among delinquent women. All the delinquent women in prison in Tehran constituted the statistical population of the study of which 170 women were randomly selected to form the statistical sample. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. The findings demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between the risky behaviors and of the delinquent women tendency to drug addiction.

Reputational homicide is a common phenomenon among the Iranian tribes and traditional societies and stems from the traditional structure, tribe lives, patriarchal governance and instrumental abuse of women. The present study aims at clarifying the social-cultural factors affecting the reputational homicides among the Iranian tribes. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. 900 tribes formed the statistical population from which 267 families were randomly selected. The findings showed that variables are related to the tribal beliefs and the collective conscience have direct significant relationship with reputational homicides and variables such as a social trust, localization, and individualization have reverse relationship with reputational homicide.

The present study was mainly inspired by certain factors such as economic crimes, embezzlements, newly developed crimes and lack of effective informatics, etc. This is an applied descriptive study of the content analysis type. All the contents published in 2011 in Keihan, Arman, and it Donyaye Eghtesad newspapers formed the contents to be analyzed. 443 cases related to economic crimes were collected. The findings of the study showed that there is a significant relationship between the viewpoints of media and that of actual economic contents. The findings also showed that there is a significant relationship between the contents related to economic crimes and their roles.In this fashion, Keihan had the highest frequency in forming the beliefs and Arman had the highest frequency in news transmitting and Donyaye Eghtesad had the highest frequency in supervision. Hence it can be concluded that the press aimed at playing a kind of role in dealing with economic crimes.

Serial homicides which have been increased over the last three decades In Iran have vexed the collective conscience more than any crime. The present study is an attempt to sociologically analyze the women's serial homicides in Qazvin province. This is a case study. The Qazvin serial killer was the case studied. Semi-structured interview was used as the instrument for collecting the required data. Sampling was information-based. The findings demonstrated that the family status of the killer was poor and a wretched. The educational levels of the killer and his family as well as their vocational status were poor the killer's social environment was a highly crime prone due to certain offenders residing there. The killer lack certain important individual and social skills.

Automobile theft is among the most important crimes against property which brings about financial problems on the part of the victims. The case gets worse when the automobiles are used in committing other crimes such as armed robbery, kidnapping, drug trafficking, smuggling, etc. Criminal Intelligence as a new center in Iran police structure can play a significant role in detecting automobile theft. The present study aims at identifying the aspects and variables of the criminal intelligence in detecting automobile theft. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. The statistical population of the study was formed by detectives, search officers, and judges. The findings of this study showed that human intelligence and technical and telecommunication aspects played the most important roles in detecting automobile thefts.

Economic crimes are now considered a basic challenge. The main problem to be solved by the present research is the enlargement of economic crimes and the related concerns in Iran. The present research is an applied descriptive one aiming at clarifying the nature of economic crimes and the ways to deal with them. Questionnaire and interview were used as instruments for collecting the required data. The findings of this study demonstrated that the Merton's stress theory can to a great extent justify the economic crimes andincompatibility of the instruments and the society's legal ends is the most important factor in making people inclined toward getting engaged in the pyramid networks.
