Abstract

Economic costs, death, suicide, severe crimes, and unsuccessful marriages are somehow related to drug abuse and ADDICTION. Some other phenomena like behavioral and psychological problems and physical diseases such as AIDS hepatitis and social problems are the consequences of drug abuse. The present study tries to determine the relationship between RISKY BEHAVIOR and SENSATION and the tendency toward drug ADDICTION among delinquent women. All the delinquent women in prison in TEHRAN constituted the statistical population of the study of which 170 women were randomly selected to form the statistical sample. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. The findings demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between the RISKY BEHAVIORs and of the delinquent women tendency to drug ADDICTION.
