In the last two decades, attention has been paid to the phenomenon of violence against children in sport, which has so far been neglected in Iranian sport. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identification and analysis the dimensions of violence against children in the field of sport. Considering the qualitative and exploratory nature of the violence against children in sport, the method of qualitative research was applied to the grounded theory and Glaser method (1992). The preliminary list was provided using preliminary studies. Subsequently, semi-structured interviews with appropriate intercoder reliability were gathered with 16 of the elite, coaches and experts aware of the subject of the research. For the validity of the interviews from multiple sources and analyzes, and maximum data with recorded were used. The data were then analyzed by three-step, open, axial, and selective coding. Open coding results led to identifying 98 cods in two dimensions and substrates. In the area of violence against the child 7 concepts and finally, in the selective coding, three components of verbal, physical and psychological violence were identified. In the context of the basics, 9 concepts consist Unawareness, taboo, subculture, family structure, club structure, personality characteristics of the club factors, personal desires, social learning and child position were classified and in the selective coding of the three contextual, structural and behavioral components were identified. It seems that the factors contributing to the phenomenon of violence against children in Iran's sport include the four elements of the self, structure of family, society and structure of club, and the deficiency in each element can pave the way for violence against the child. It is suggested that rules and regulations be formulated in a transparent and rigorous manner, and in this regard, media and nongovernmental organizations will also be empowered to support the legal education of families, clubs and children.
