Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to investigate The effect of satisfaction from architectural quality of learning environments on the student success. To this end, the most important measures of student achievement were recognized through a survey. Then, investigate the relationship between academic achievement and spatial satisfaction according to third grade students’ comments as the main users of such learning spaces. The statistical population of the study at this stage included all third-grade primary school students in Ardabil; out of them, 2016 students were selected as the sample size based on cluster sampling method. According to the results obtained from confirmatory tables and correlational tests on 12 measures affecting qualities of learning spaces, it was observed that satisfaction with each quality of learning spaces had a significant relationship with students’ academic achievement. As well, satisfaction with the shape of the classroom was considered as a factor affecting academic achievement of students. Results from examining all measures indicated that satisfaction of students with classroom space was effective on their academic achievement.

Abstract: 

One of the main issues in designing office buildings is to maintain thermal comfort in indoor environment by using passive design strategies. Double skin faç ade is a key idea in energy efficient building concept and is commonly used in office buildings. Proper skin of building results in optimize natural light and ventilation in cavity space of double skin faç ade and indoor spaces. In this research a corridor double skin faç ade of an office building in warm and arid climate of Shiraz has been modeled to evaluate parameters affecting natural ventilation. Air flow velocity, temperature, circulation and Distribution have been investigated in cavity and indoor space of building in different design condition of corridor faç ade to determine optimum size and position of openings and width of cavity. Results shows that by dividing length of corridor to specific size there will be better flow distribution and velocity. Subtracting length of corridor less than specified limit will not have positive effect and in some condition result in poor ventilation condition.

Abstract: 

Nowadays waterfronts are considered as one of the most important spaces in improving spatial qualities of cities. Attention to environmental sustainability of urban design of waterfronts, will result in a fairly comprehensive approach to all aspects. The present study tries to extract qualities by reviewing literature on sustainable place-making, measure and evaluate them in the Qara-sou River. The main object is to achieve sustainable place-making strategies to improve the quality of rivers in urban areas. Because of the inappropriate status of surrounding area around the the Qara-sou River, the existence of possible potentials and the lack of a coherent plan for its sustainable revival, required research to be carried out. The research data are qualitative-quantitative. The environmental qualitative analysis of the case study done using the SWOT matrix. To determine the reliability and validity of research and prioritization of SWOT criteria, a questionnaire based on Cochran formula with a sample size of 100 person by using randomized method, with the possibility of People's accountability, with specified time and age was distributed. Analysis of data from the combination of SWOT and hierarchical process analysis, with help of the Expert Choice software, is calculated. The results show that among the SWOT factors, the weaknesses have the highest weight in the sustainable place-making of the case and in Categories of factors; And in categorizing factors in the form of factors of quality of environmental sustainability, functional one has the first priority; and Finally, sustainable place-making strategies of Rivers are presented.

Abstract: 

Biological collections are the focal point for the emergence of behavioral diversity. The level of success in any bio space can be measured by the extent of the continuity of people in that space. According to experts, the bountiful presence of humans in every place represents the feeling of vitality and vitality of that space. The result of these three components is the emergence of happiness in space, a sense of vitality and excitement. The research method in this paper was qualitative-quantitative meta-analysis and a research tool for purposeful sampling with the method of statistical analysis of data. The findings of the research have shown that with the qualitative and quantitative study of the issues raised, in the field of the sense of vitality in residential areas and frequencies, it is possible to find the pathology and the necessary research to improve the quality of the living environment. According to the analysis of the views of the 12 experts, the three components of physical, social component and environmental component are the most effective components. The quantitative results of this study have shown that physical component is 74. 42%, the social component is 18. 61% and the environmental component is close to 7. 00% in realizing the sense of vitality. After analyzing the findings and categorizing the necessary 15 effective indicators in the sense of vitality. The final achievement of this research is to explain the communication model between the factors contributing to the realization of vitality for residents of biological spaces.

Abstract: 

Now, population aging has become a global phenomenon. This phenomenon has been resulted from global fertility rate decrease together with increasing elderly age. The aim of this research is studying the relationship between Age-friendly city indexes which have been introduced by World Health Organization (WHO), and the rate of their effect on dependent variable of sustainable Age-friendly city in Tehran. The research is conducted by survey method and the standard questionnaire of WHO has been distributed targeted and non-randomly among 115 experts and the analysis was made by Pierson Correlation test, Confirmatory factor analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling techniques (SEM). The research analysis was done in SPSS23 and Lisrel8. 8 softwares. Results of the model test show that in 99 percent confidence level of the 6 indexes (Housing, Social participation, Respect for the elderly and social inclusion, Citizen participation and employment, Communication and information, and Health and local services) have a meaningful relation with sustainable Age-friendly City project (P

Abstract: 

The aim of this paper is to determine the level of Tehran metropolitan areas in terms of sustainable development indicators using factor analysis and cluster analysis. The research method is descriptive-analytic and quantitative models have been used. To understand the levels of access to the 22 areas of Tehran, using statistics and census data of 2011, 47 indicators have been used in economic, social and cultural infrastructure and housing, and the results have been obtained using the model The factor analysis has been evaluated and finally, cluster analysis has been used to divide the regions into homogeneous groups. For evaluation of data, Excel software and SPSS software were used, and ArcGIS 10 software was used to draw maps. The ranking of Tehran's 22 districts based on the level of welfare and utilization of urban facilities and services indicates inequality and a significant difference between the physical expansion of the city and economic, social and cultural development in the capital. Since the facilities and services in the areas of Tehran have not been distributed in a coordinated manner. Zone 6 is the most developed and the 20 and 22 regions are the most deprived.
