Abstract: 

The main purpose of the present study is to investigate the impact of external factors on risk management in construction companies (case study in Hormozgan province). The research method was descriptive correlational. The statistical population includes engineers working on active projects, specialists and experts in Hormozgan province with a total of 120 people, Due to the limited number of the statistical population, all individuals were considered as the sample, but in multiple follow-up, 5 completed questionnaires were collected and statistically exploited. The research tool was a 36-item questionnaire developed and validated by Khaksar et al. One-way regression and Friedman tests were used to analyze the research hypotheses through SPSS / 23 software. The results showed that external factors influence the risk management of construction companies and there was a significant difference between the mean ratings of external factors affecting risk management in construction companies. The highest mean score was for the construct items and the lowest was for the job position items. In fact, the factors of tenure were: construction factor, economic and financial factor, administrative and organizational factor, social and cultural factor, technical and technological factor and job position factor in risk management in construction companies.

Abstract: 

The advancement of human societies and the increase in population have led to the increasing need for larger and more complex buildings and facilities. Consequently, it is necessary to form PDS teams and structures. Increased involvement of project stakeholders and changes in risk sharing and conflict of interest and conflict between their rights has led to claims. The present article attempts to provide a summary of claims and legal bases, in particular the employer claims of construction project contractors based on existing literature in Iran and the world, analyze the results and. Prioritize factors for climate (of employer origin). In addition, the process of dealing with claims was studied and after examination it was found that the most frequent and severely influenced factors for claim were related to the client's request for changes, followed by additional work factors and delays. Among the ways to deal with the claim made by the contractors was the best way to negotiate. Jurisdiction and referral are next, with only a small percentage of disputes settled through the court. (Almost 6%).

Abstract: 

The EPC is,by definition,comprised of three major parts:engineering,procurement,and construction.In fact,the process of handling,timely delivery,is the anticipated cost.One of the main features of EPC project implementation has been to reduce overall project execution time and increase project profits,since today most of the capital of any country,especially developing countries,is devoted to its development and infrastructure projects and one of the factors of economic growth and development of any society is the success of its development projects.Success of a project is one of the biggest and most important goals and concerns of executives and everyone involved in a project,which is a unifying effort of all project team members.Investigating the success or failure factors of a project in construction projects is more sensitive due to the dynamic and changing nature of the construction industry at different stages of project implementation.Therefore,it is important to consider the advantages and disadvantages of civil engineering contracts and their compliance with project conditions before selecting them.The direct impact of the type of contract on the success or failure of any project is clear which can be used by studying and researching well before the contract.

Abstract: 

The present study has mainly focused on the modification of the hyperbolic model formulation so that the shortcomings of the said model can be corrected and more conformity with the experimental results can also be provided. This model, also known as Duncan-Chang model, is a two parameter model for obtaining the stress-strain curve of the triaxial test. The hyperbolic model which is indicative of the ideal characteristics of the soil is particularly advantageous in that it does not require the presence of extensive test programs and can easily be implemented through computer programs. As the results show, although numerous studies have already been carried out to address the model shortcomings, this model fails to predict the plastic behavior of the subsaturated soils. Among the shortcomings of the said model are the insufficiency of the hyperbolic model relations for the analysis of the stage related to the soil instability, uselessness of the relations in case of soil volume variation, experimental nature of the used coefficients in the relation. Hyperbolic relations are useful in solving different problems of engineering and geotechnics since numerical values of hyperbolic model parameters can be extracted from the experimental results and all the relations that are used for the drained soils can also be applied to non-drained and unstable soils. Furthermore, numerous values of parameters have been tested and utilized for different kinds of soil over the past thirty years. Therefore, a rich source is available for comparison and interpretation of the obtained results from different projects.

Abstract: 

In this study, the cracking force in HPFRCC reinforced beams was compared to reference beams. In this regard, a reference beam and four beams reinforced with a thin layer of HPFRCC in the lower part of the beams were subjected to four-point pure bending experiment and finally the impact of reinforcement on the resulting forces is investigated and compared. In the reference concrete beam, the cracks are coupled with the tensile stress-strain curvature softening and the structural bearing capacity decreases with increasing cracks. Therefore, relying on reinforcement is essential to maintain the structure. However, in the lower layer beams of the HPRFCC the microtracks allow the material to enter the hardening stage and increase the bearing capacity. This increase is more noticeable in specimens with more fibers.
