Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Methamphetamine Abuse is one of the main medical, social, economic and cultural problems. This study aims to effects that spiritual beliefs have of preventing of tendency toward methamphetamine abuse.Methods: The research was performed by causal-comparative method. Size of sample was 226 persons who case group (113 persons) selected by random, cluster sampling. Main Data collection instrument is questionnaire designed by Hart. Data was analyzed by T test that was independent and logistic regression, using SPSS. 20.Results: Finding indicated that there is a significant relationship between spiritual beliefs whose have young addicts and ones whose have young non-addicts. In addition, spiritual beliefs have a positive effect of preventing from tendency toward methamphetamine abuse. To rise of rate of spiritual beliefs is to rise of probability to be lacked methamphetamine abuse and to be belonged to normal group.Conclusion: Spiritual beliefs can lead to reduce vulnerability by effects of cognitive evaluation, coping activities and protective sources. Institutionalization of spiritual beliefs is a different and complementary modality of spiritual.

Abstract: 

Background: Data registration is one of the principal infrastructures of health promotion and social development programs. Infertility is one of the most important medical issues nowadays.Methods: This study has been performed by reviewing electronic and non-electronic information sources to identify the infertility registries in developed countries as first step of national infertility registry design.Results: "Infertility Registry" has been performed in five countries systematically. We studied three of them from the view of history, structure and facilities.Conclusion: Despite favorable progress in many health fields and management of data diseases in Iran, systematic registration of infertility data based on international standards has been neglected yet.

Abstract: 

Background: Quran as a holy book is the most important reference for humanity and a book of guidance that carries useful verses about health and hygiene. Therefore, the present study aimed at measuring the utilization rate of this valuable book in the scientific output of medical sciences.Methods: The current descriptive cross-sectional study has been conducted on a portion of medical science’s scientific outputs (medical and dental dissertations as well as journals and articles in the field of medical sciences) and a long interval of conferences on environmental health (from the first up to 2013). Data was collected using a researcher-made checklist using scientometric method. Descriptive and inferential statistical indicators were used for data analysis.Results: A survey on 511 dissertations including 20,776 references has shown that Quran was used in rare cases (less than 0.1%). In addition, findings of 19,069 references used in 876 published scientific articles in Persian journal of Babol University of Medical Sciences have reported that, the utilization rate of Quran was less than 1% over a 22-year interval. After surveying of 13, 134 published articles in 126 journals under the supervision of 47 Iranian universities of medical sciences in the years 1391 and 1392, Quran was used less than 0.1% as a keyword. Also, the abstract of only 5 articles had been attached to Quran issue in a 16-year interval of survey.Conclusion: Totally, according to the very influential role of holy Quran verses on Muslim behavior and high validity of this book as a document, the utilization rate of this valuable book among scientific outputs of medical sciences, is rare. Therefore, it is essential to encourage university professors as well as students to enhance the utilization rate of Quran as a way to develop the level of health and sanitation in the society.

Abstract: 

Background: Due to the important role of medical graduates in disease prevention, having awareness and knowledge in this field seems very important. The aim of this study was to assess knowledge and attitude of this group of students on the role of nutrition in cancer.Methods: This descriptive study that lasted from September 2014 until the end of December. 400 students of the Yazd medical university were selected and separated due to their educational fields randomly and then a questionnaire containing 53 questions on the knowledge and attitudes about nutrition and cancer was given to each of them. Once they were completed, the data was analyzed by SPSS version 16 using chi-square test, Student t-test and one way ANOVA.Results: The mean age of subjects was 24.25±2.06 years and 273 patients (68.2%) were women while 113 (28.2%) were male. The average total knowledge score was obtained 16.23 ±4.08 and the average score of knowledge among women and men were respectively 16.45±4.12 and 15.64±3.82 and the differences were significant (P= 0.05). The difference be-tween mean knowledge score was significantly different between the different educational levels (P=0.01) and additionally the average total attitude score was 14.96 ± 3.07 while attitude mean score of men and women (14.74±2.94 vs. 15.45±3.41) showed a significant difference (P≤0.05(.Conclusion: Overall, knowledge and attitudes score of the students' were not ideal and promotion of education on this issue is essential.

Background: If we accept the teaching activity is purposeful and its aim is to promote learning of persons so it must have a planned. Today, with the advancement of science in medical universities Using participatory methods and problem-based, student-centered had emphasizes. According to many experts, roleplaying teaching method is a method By placing Persons at the simulated environments Caused Promote learning process, critical thinking and active involvement of the learner-with the teaching and interaction between teacher and student. In this paper we discuss various aspects of role playing teaching methods in various articles and trying to keep up with in-depth review of literature pay The requirements of this teaching method in medical universities.Methods: In this study, by using the key words role playing, medical education, medical universities, teaching methods and, articles were selected related studies from 1995 to 2014 Google scholar, pub med, Scopus databases and local and foreign journals were related to medical education, Based on the posed in This fields of education, the situation in this method were studied in different universities of medical sciences and finally 36 were studied.Results: The Research about the teaching method showed the teaching methods are integrated with-learning strategies such as problem-based learning and collaborative and more to the use of this method for-teaching affective domain has been changed therefore necessary that faculty become familiar with learning-strategies. Studies the positive effects of the teaching role playing methods clinical and theoretical medical education are supported.Conclusion: Improving learning and teaching process need to use different methods and combine multiple methods in teaching. Based on the studies reviewed recommended teachers to teach various skills in cognitive and functional domains used of these teaching methods.
