One of the features of Saeb’s poetry (1086 H) is his use of compound similes - particularly making abundant use of allegory. Allegory is a gate to novice themes and this is the case that Saeb participated in the theme-seeking game commonly held in Iran and India at the Safavids era. Thekind of endeavor to explore and integrate new themes in the Safavid’s style of poetry increased the poets’ inclination to the use of metaphorical and laconic contexts (spaces). Narratology is a brunch of semiology which considers any kind of narrative, literary or non literary, verbal or visual, story or non story and after this specifies the plot. One of the most important subjects in narratology is the interpretation of textual cods which based on can be understood a lot of hidden meanings. The present research investigates the tale of "Evil and Good" in Nezami's Haft Peikar in terms of Greimasian semantic structuralism and tries through binary oppositions to verify the degree of applicability of Greimas' actantial modelto the Persian versified narratives and generalization of the results to other verse narratives to achieve a better understanding of the structure of these narratives. Persian poetry forms–at least since the time of Rudaki- have played a significant role in Iranian’s lyrical music.
