Background and Aim: The South Caucasus was founded by Russia in 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Most countries in this border region share a border with Iran. In the meantime, Armenia is one of the countries in this region, which is of great importance in Iran's border diplomacy due to its geographical proximity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the position of Armenia in Iranian border diplomacy. Method: This descriptive-analytical study using library resources in the period 1390-1389 has investigated the position of Armenia in Iranian border diplomacy. Findings and Results: Considering that the economically active population in the South Caucasus region is 94. 3 million people and the GDP of the region is $ 1. 9 trillion, the expansion of economic relations through border diplomacy and the improvement of relations with Eurasian members, the possibility of trade relations. With a population of about 184 million, it provides Iran.
