Abstract:

Introduction: Divorce and separation from parents can cause many problems, including impaired family functioning. The purpose of the present study was to compare the general health and eating disorders in the offspring of girls of formal divorce, emotional divorce and normal counterparts. Methods: This study was a descriptive-comparative study. The statistical population of the study consisted of all students of first and second grade high school girl students in Tehran in the academic year of 1396-1977 among whom 209 were selected through cluster sampling and were divided into three groups of children of emotional divorce families (50 persons) and formal divorce (N=53) and normal families (n=106). Data were collected using the "General Health Questionnaire", "The Eating Disorder Inventory" (EDI). Content validity and Cronbach's alpha of instruments were measured. Data were analyzed by SPSS. 22. Results: The mean score of the general health questionnaire in the three groups was 33. 4, 30. 4 and 27. 6, respectively. The mean score of total eating disorder in the three groups was 71. 1, 66. 5 and 56, respectively, which is higher for girls with parents with emotional divorces. Conclusions: The group of girls with divorced parents has less general health. Eating disorder is more common in the group of girls with parents with emotional divorces. Therefore, it is suggested that health professionals act in a timely manner after divorce to prevent the health and behavioral problems of their children.

Introduction: Changing the behavior of individuals for exercise in sports groups is associated with various factors. The aim of this study was to determine the factors related to exercise in sports programs of health stations in Tehran Municipality, District 4. Methods: This study was a descriptive-correlational study. The statistical population consisted of all individuals participating in sports programs in Tehran Municipality, District 4. To select a sample of 70 health stations, 10 stations were cluster randomly selected and 247 people were selected according to Cochran formula by convenience method. In this study, the "Physical Activity Scale of Adults" was used. Face validity, content validity index, construct and convergent validity and reliability (Cronbach's alpha coefficient) were assessed. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SmartPls 3. 0 software. Results: Between self-efficacy (β = 0. 15, P = 0. 004), awareness (β = 0. 23, P = 0. 01) and physical activity intention (β = 0. 19, P = 0. 002) with physical activity There was a significant positive correlation. But there was no significant correlation between outcome expectations (β = 0. 01, P = 0. 72) with physical activity. Conclusions: Self-efficacy, awareness and intention have a significant positive correlation with physical activity. Therefore, it is suggested that public sport managers, especially the Tehran Municipality Sport Organization, engage in social media programs to encourage people to participate in public sport programs.

Abstract:

Introduction: Continuous participation in physical activity is essential to maintaining good health and well-being throughout life. Therefore, the present study aimed to determine correlation between parental support and physical activity, children's perception of parental support, social sense and neighborhood environment with child physical activity. Methods: This study was a descriptive-correlational study. The statistical population consisted of 9-11-year-old male and female students in Tehran and their parents (299610). Based on Morgan table, 384 students were selected and 400 questionnaires were distributed through cluster sampling. To collect data, the "Parent-Reported Support for Physical Activity", "International Physical Activity Questionnaire", "Children's Perceptions of Parental Support", "Sense of Community Scale", "Physical Activity Neighborhood Environment Scale", "Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children", were used. Face, content, and construct validity and reliability were measured. SmartPLS 2. 0 M3 software was used for data analysis. Results: There was a significant positive correlation between physical activity of parents (t=2/31, β =0/22) and physical activity of children. However, there was not a significant correlation between parental support for physical activity (t=0/72, β =0/10) sense of community (t=0/83, β =0/09) children's perception of parental support (t=1/93, β =0/26) and neighborhood environment (t=0/05, β =-0/006) with children physical activity. Conclusions: Parents' physical activity and their type of exercise behavior improve children's physical activity. Therefore, it is suggested that family-based physical activity programs be a priority for family programs.

Abstract:

Introduction: With age, the immune system decreases. Improving immune function in the elderly through exercise has an important role in the health of the elderly. The purpose of the present study was to determine the effect of twelve weeks of Pilates training on immune markers in elderly men. Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, 22 elderly men with mean age (65 ± 2. 81) years were purposefully selected and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. Pilates training program was performed for 12 weeks, three days a week for 60 minutes. The intensity of exercise was controlled by the "Rating of Perceived Exertion" (RPE) Monocytes, neutrophils, and lymphocytes were measured before and 48 hours after the last training session. Content validity and Cronbach's alpha were measured. SPSS. 23 was used for data analysis. Results: 12 weeks of Pilates training significantly increased monocyte level (P = 0. 001, F = 315. 87) (18. 21%) and significantly decreased neutrophil counts (P = 0. 001). P, F = 56. 57 (5. 65%) and lymph nodes (P = 0. 001, F = 31. 26) (5. 33%) in the experimental group compared to the control group (P<0. 05). Conclusions: Pilates exercises for a relatively long time can be effective in stimulating and altering immune system parameters in the elderly. It is recommended that seniors use this type of exercise to strengthen their immune systems and improve their health.

Abstract:

Introduction: Healthcare workers are at risk of catching respiratory infections due to repeated contact with patients in the front row. The purpose of this paper was to compare surgical masks with N95 masks in the prevention of influenza in health care workers in the hospital. Methods: In this systematic review study, all articles published during the years (20052019) in both Persian and English on surgical masks and N95 masks were examined. These studies were conducted through the IranMedex, Magiran, IranDoc, SID, Elsevier, Pubmed, Medline, Cochrane databases. Keywords included surgical masks, N95 filter masks, treatment staff, Surgical masks, N95 respirators, health care workers and influenza. The result of this research was the achievement of 104 articles, which were obtained after deleting duplicate and unavailable articles (47) and review articles (10) and not having study conditions (34), 23 articles related to the subject. 13 articles were removed from the study due to lack of entry criteria, and finally 10 articles were included in the study. Results: Of the 10 studies, 7 were hospital-based, 2 were outpatient, and 1 were in the laboratory. Of these articles, 5 articles were about comparing the effectiveness of surgical masks with N95 masks and 1 article was about comparing the policies of choosing a surgical mask and N95 mask and 4 other articles were comparing surgical masks and N95 masks in preventing influenza. None of the articles found a link between the use of surgical masks and N95 masks and protection against influenza infection. Conclusions: No association was found between the use of surgical mask and N95 mask and protection against influenza infection. Therefore, it is recommended to use surgical masks and N95 along with hygienic issues.
