Introduction: The crisis of professional identity among nurses causes psychological imbalance and tension. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between professional identity dimensions and job stress among nurses working in teaching hospitals of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. Methods: This descriptive-correlational study was performed on 340 nurses in teaching hospitals of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in 1997 using stratified random sampling. The instrument included two questionnaires: "Professional Identity Questionnaire" and "Role Stress Scale". Content, face and construct validity (confirmatory factor analysis) and reliability (Cronbach's alpha) were measured. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS 2. 0. 0 M3 software. Results: Negative correlation of 3 dimensions of professional identity (achievement retention and risk of leaving job (P <0. 05) social and self-reflective comparison (P <0. 001) and social modeling (P <0. 001) with role stress was confirmed. But the correlation between the two other dimensions (self-concept (P <0. 05) and independence in career choice (P <0. 05) with stress was not confirmed. In general, the negative correlation of professional identity with role stress (P <0. 001), Z =-0. 37 approved. Conclusions: Achievement retention and risk of leaving job, social and self-reflective comparison, and social modeling are associated with reduced stress on the role of nurses. It is suggested to establish training courses, career counseling and personality in order to reduce the role of nurses in promoting professional identity in nurses.

Introduction: Moral intelligence is one of the most important factors influencing the improvement of quality of hospital care. Therefore, to develop a suitable tool for nurses is essential. The purpose of this study was development and psychometric evaluation of "Nurses' Moral Intelligence Scale" in Kerman University of Medical Sciences Hospitals. Methods: The present study is a methodological study. Initially, with a comprehensive review of the literature on moral intelligence and the opinions of 15 experts in Delphi method after four rounds, nurses' moral intelligence domains were extracted. Then, using the concept of each component, items "Nurses' Moral Intelligence Scale" were developed and its content validity was evaluated by 22 experts. The scale was distributed among 400 nurses working in Kerman University of Medical Sciences hospitals. Its construct validity was measures using exploratory factor analysis. Internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha) and test-retest methods were used to measure reliability. Data were analyzed using SPSS-20 and Amos-24 software. Results: Initially, 29 factors were identified for moral intelligence that gained 9 consensus experts in the four Delphi rounds. The designed scale also had 41 items, which reduced the number to 34 by examining content validity by experts and removing 7 items. In exploratory factor analysis, 9 factors and 34 items were confirmed. The reliability of the instrument was measured using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient and test-retest, 0. 961 and 0. 861 respectively. Conclusions: The "Nurses' Moral Intelligence Scale" with 9 factors and 34 items has acceptable validity and reliability. It is suggested that researchers use the developed scale in their studies.

Abstract:

Introduction: Shoulder dyskinesia is common among athletes with overhead throws and can make athletes susceptible to shoulder injuries. The purpose of this study was to compare the isometric strength and functional stability of shoulder girdle muscles in volleyball women Players with and without scapular dyskinesia. Methods: In this descriptive-comparative study, 12 women volleyball players with scapular dyskinesia and 12 women volleyball players without scapular dyskinesia between 18 and 30 years were purposefully selected and compared. Kibler shoulder lateral slip test was used to assess shoulder movement disorder. A manual dynamometer was used to measure the maximal isometric strength of the shoulder muscles and the Y balance board was used to measure the functional stability of the upper extremity. Data were analyzed by SPSS 21 software. Results: There was a significant difference between the maximum isometric strength of infraspinatus (P = 0. 001), sub-scapula (P = 0. 004), upper trapezoid (P = 0. 001), lower trapezoid (P = 0. 001) and serratus anterior (P=0. 003) was present in individuals with and without dyskinesia. Also, the results of upper extremity functional stability test showed that in the superior-lateral (P = 0. 04), middle (P = 0. 009) and composite (P = 0. 01) areas between athletes 'superior hand performance with scapular dyskinesia with athletes' superior hand performance. Conclusions: In volleyball players with scapular dyskinesia, scapular stabilizers, including the dentate muscles and the inferior trapezius, were weaker than others. Also, functional stability in the shoulder of volleyball players with scapular dyskinesia was lower than in healthy subjects. Considering the association between decreased strength of shoulder girdle movements with dyskinesia, strengthening of shoulder girdle muscles, especially anterior and lower trapezius muscles, is recommended in in with scapular dyskinesia.

Abstract:

Introduction: One of the problems of service unit managers is identifying actions and prioritizing them to improve service quality. The purpose of this study was to determine combining Quality House method and SERVQUAL analysis in quality of medical clinic services. Methods: This is a descriptive study. In this study, two statistical populations including Clinical Reference Society and Medical-Cosmetic Experts were used. From the first population, using Cochran formula with 5% error, 386 clients were randomly selected to complete "Importance Degree Questionnaire" and "SERVQUAL Questionnaire". In the second population, a sample of 4 physicians and 4 university teachers was selected to complete the “ Relationship Matrix Questionnaire’ . According to the validity of previous studies, their reliability was measured by Cronbach's alpha. At first, the clients 'demands for the clinic service were identified using the clients' comments and then their importance was calculated by the questionnaire of importance and difference between the current quality level and the expected quality level of the clients (quality gap) by the “ SERVQUAL Questionnaire” . After determining the weight of each request, corrective measures were identified to meet these demands, according to the expert's opinion. Then, with the "Communication Matrix Questionnaire", the relationships of these corrective actions with the demands were determined and finally the weight of each corrective action was determined. Data were analyzed by SPSS. 16. Results: 12 client requests and 15 corrective actions were identified and prioritized. "Physician performance" and "hygiene" were the most important demands and "Para clinical services" had the highest quality gap and the highest weight. Corrective measures of "skilled personnel recruitment" and "use of new medical equipment" were also top priorities. Conclusions: Using a combination of quality house methodology and SERVQUAL analysis, corrective actions were identified to improve the quality of medical clinic services and prioritize their implementation. It is recommended to combine these two methods in determining corrective actions and prioritizing their implementation to improve the quality of medical clinic services.
