Agricultural cooperatives, as one of the most important representatives of the organized participation of rural farmers in economic and social affairs, are effective in increasing employment, Production and promotion of income level and social status of villagers, this research investigating the dimensions of education and training skills, supply chain, technical and economic services, social, support aspects, aims at the feasibility of forming a green and organic based production cooperative in order to create jobs for women and poverty alleviation in Ilam province. Data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was approved by experts from the Department of Entrepreneurship and Rural Development at Ilam University and its reliability confirmed as acceptable through Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0. 86). The statistical population of this study was the villagers of Ilam province with 89895 people. The sample size using Cochran's formula were 200 people. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics through t-test. The results showed that rural areas in Ilam, in terms of education and training skills, supply chain, technical and economic services, social, technical and support aspects, have the potential to enable the women in the related areas to form green and organic based production cooperatives. Therefore, it is proposed that Supportive organizations could provide the grounds for establishing green and organic based production cooperatives in Ilam province.
