Abstract: 

With specific goals for the continuation of the Holy Prophet’ s revolution of the divine system, the Islamic Revolution stands at high position. The role of its elites and agents is in accordance with the systematic procedure of this movement and the continuance of the revolution will never be possible unless with the persistence of the managers on making progress and achieving excellence only in this way. This basic research follows descriptive-exploratory method for designing "conceptual pattern of the Islamic Revolution knowledge for managers". The research is aimed at identifying and introducing the concepts, categories and meta-categories derived from the data collected from the statements of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, in a 21-volume collection called “ Sahifeh Imam” , which are to be reviewed entirely until saturation. Three open, axial, selective identification (conceptualization) of the data resulted in 358 propositions, 59 codes and concepts, 20 categories and 6 meta-categories including causal, axial, interventional, strategic, contextual and consequential variables. The concept of "Islamic Revolution knowledge" was pointed as the central category, and the relevant factors were inserted in the obtained model. The components included: revolutionary insight, revolutionary faith and transcendence as the central factors; spiritualism, selfpurification, faith in the last day and Islam as the underlying components; revolutionary spirit, determination, revolutionary integration and revolutionary commitment as the strategic components; guarding the revolution, legality, giving service, and Jihadi management as consequential components; revolutionary thinking and revolutionary features as intervening components; revolutionary thinking and revolutionary awareness as causal factors.

Abstract: 

The “ Second phase of the Islamic Revolution Statement” can be considered as an accurate document of vision, based on Islamic ideals and a roadmap for achieving a new Islamic civilization. A careful study of this document can lead to the formulation of a model for an Islamic society demonstrating Islamic civilization. This research is intended to present the model of the civilization making society, based on the content analysis of the content of “ the second phase of the Islamic revolution statement” . Employing a qualitative content analysis, the researchers reviewed the text of the statement completely and the components and categories related to the main variable were identified and categorized in the first step. In the second step, using the focal group method, the variables were defined as a conceptual model with validation. The components of this model included antecedents and causal conditions, principles and requirements, harms and obstacles, and strategies derived from the text. The principles and requirements, in the subject of this study, include the setting of institutional transformation and excellence, and spirituality and the features of human capital. In the meantime, the external and internal obstacles and harms were identified, and finally, the presentation of strategies addressing the question of "What should be done? ! ", and the prescriptive component of the model.

Abstract: 

Understanding the discourse of the Islamic management can be very helpful for both leaders and individuals who take managerial responsibilities in the society. This research is intended to have a critical discourse analysis of Imam Ali's letters to Abdullah Ibn Abbas. Hence, Imam Ali's letters to Abdullah bin Abbas, the ruler of Basra, are reviewed and analyzed through a qualitative method using Fairclough’ s critical discourse analysis. These are seven letters analyzed through critical discourse analysis at three levels. At the level of important linguistic features of the letters, the eloquence dominating the letters was assessed. An attempt was made to interpret the eloquence of the discourse of this textual features in the context of writing of these letters in the era of Imam Ali (AS) at the level of interpretation. At the level of explanation, the researchers tried to identify the relationship between discourse eloquence and the text as well as its socio-political context. All in all, the findings indicate that in Imam Ali's discourse, there is only one identifiable practice or discourse practice which reveals that Imam Ali’ s practice was only in an Imamgovernor position. At this position, Imam Ali demonstrated different types of discourse to structure Islamic management in their letters. In general, six discourses were employed in the production of Imam-governor discourse to present the order of Islamic management discourse including justice-oriented and truthful management discourse, managerial open-minded discourse, managerial discourse orientation, fateorientation discourse, martyrdom-orientation discourse and unworldliness discourse.

Abstract: 

City managers need a practical and ethical framework to guide and control both their behavior and the value system of urban management in their dealing with the complex and pervasive ethical problems in urban planning. Following a combined method and basic-applied approach, this study is aimed at the assessment of the status of professional ethics in Isfahan from the views of city managers. To achieve of the goals of this research, interviews were conducted with the city managers through purposeful sampling method in the qualitative phase. In the quantitative phase, questionnaires were presented to all city managers of the municipality of Isfahan and the associated organizations by the counting method. The results were analyzed through content analysis, one-sample t-test, and Friedman test. The analysis of the data led to a model of professional ethics of urban managers containing five criteria including conditions and effective factors, norms and values, understanding ethical issues, reaching to ethical solutions and trying for ethical conduct. All criteria of professional ethics in city management in Isfahan are at an average level from the viewpoints of city managers. The average status of professional ethics in districts 1, 3 and 5 of Isfahan Municipality was at a high level according to city managers. Understanding ethical issues was more important for of city managers.

Abstract: 

The teachings of Islam, containing transcendent values, make the foundation of social capital and reinforce it. On the one hand, knowledge values and concepts, in the form of a comprehensive system, actualize and develop social capital; on the other hand, social capital makes the basis for sustainable social and development by creating networks of trust and different other relations. Hence, this study is aimed at providing solutions to develop social capital based on the Islamic value system. This descriptive applied research follows library and field method for data collection. Master and doctoral students of management at Farabi Campus of the University of Tehran were selected randomly as the research population. The elites and specialists were also selected by snowball method. All of the indicators of strategies for developing social capital revealed a high status by factor analysis and were approved. In the subjective aspect, interests were different, and in the objective aspect, knowledge organizations occupied the most important positions. In general, the objective dimension, having a path coefficient of 0. 84, occupied a better position than that of the subjective aspect with a path coefficient of 0. 81.

Abstract: 

This study is intended to investigate the mediating role of organizational climate in the relationship between Islamic work ethics and deviant behavior in the workplace and the quality of services among the educational employees. A questionnaire is employed for data collection. This research follows a descriptivecorrelational method. The research population includes all educational employees of districts 1 and 2 of Urmia all of whom are selected as the sample by census method. To assess the relationship among the variables of this study, the structural equation modeling method is used. The findings of the research indicated that there was a significant correlation between all the variables (except the relationship between organizational climate and deviant behavior). The results also revealed the significance of the role of Islamic work ethics and the need to consider this concept as an organizational construction in relation to other organizational variables.
