Abstract: 

Radio, as the main car media, can play a role in developing culture and reducing road accidents by providing traffic information, entertainment and educational programs, information and tourism development. The present study was conducted with the aim of typology of road radio, achieving desired methods of program production and recognizing the capacity of new media to establish road radio in Iran. This research is conducted based on the theory of uses and gratifications, through the case study method and with regard to the environmental capacities. The purposefully selected sample size includes 7 road radios in different regions of the world (USA, Russia, South Africa, UAE, and Canada) which have been analyzed based on the categories extracted from documentary studies and theoretical foundations. The results showed that road radio has a variety of music, educational, magazine and multimedia content. the favorable design of radio program, road environmental capacities (geography, nature, natural attractions, cultural and social events, recreational places) and traffic and environmental conditions in this area are very important. New media technologies have made it possible to provide location-based services, and therefore, it is possible to establish road radio in Iran on the main roads of the country according to the capacity of local radios and using the capacity of smartphone applications.

Abstract: 

The importance of attracting audiences by paying attention to their needs in the competition between the media and, on the other hand, the audiences' seeking entertainment due to the need for calm and cheerfulness; also, the need to convey the educational messages to the audience, is caused media practitioners to create a new type of programming called learning entertainment by using a happy and entertaining context in the production of educational programs. In this study, the entertainment learning strategy as a communication strategy in the comedy TV program Khandovaneh has been studied. The present study was conducted using in-depth interview technique in which were interviewed 12 professors, communication and media experts, producers and directors of successful and popular programs in the field of entertainment and education of the Islamic republic of Iran broadcasting, whom were purposefully selected. Thematic analysis method was used to analyze the data. Findings showed that Khandovaneh TV program has used entertainment learning as a kind of communication strategy; by providing a happy and attractive environment, it has tried to present the educational tips of the programmers to its audience in an indirectly way. Some of the elements and techniques that make up an entertainment learning model in this program are: participation, humor, setting, personal and emotional attractiveness, talk, variety and order.

Abstract: 

The present study examines the causal model of the structural model of the monitoring style and addiction to social networks mediated by the generation gap. This research is applied in terms of purpose and correlation in terms of method. Data collection tools consist of 5 standard questionnaires of Small and Kerns monitoring styles (1993); Emotional atmosphere of familie of Jafari Harandi and Rajaei Mousavi (2016); Olson Generation Gap (1999); The family function of mcmaster (2002) and researcher-made (social media addiction). The statistical population includes all Sophomore students in the 5th district of Tehran, which is about 6000 people. The sample size consisted of twenty people for each element (totally 7 elements); 140 people were selected by multi-stage cluster random sampling method. The results showed that the types of perceived parent monitoring styles in the use of children's information and communication technology are directly related to addiction to social networks. There was an indirect relationship between family emotional atmosphere, family function, and generation gap with monitoring styles and social media addiction. The emotional atmosphere of the family was also directly related to the family function that related to the generation gap.

Abstract: 

The article conducted to study the piety represented in television, in the case of the Madaraneh series. The series was broadcasted on TV channel 3 of IRIB during Ramadan in 2013. It attracted the most viewers and satisfaction and represented the religiosity in a special way. This study is based on the theory of representation, according to which the media do not convey but create meaning and construct the world through representation. The research method was semiotics. The religious symbols in this series have been extracted and the findings have been studied and analyzed. The results showed that In this series, a kind of mystical (intuitive) religiosity with disciple and desired (Moridi and Moradi) themes is represented, along with a moral approach and a relationship with a moralistic cleric, as the preferred religiosity. There were a relashionship between The two types of moral and ritual (obligation-oriented) religiosity with the main focus of intuitive piety.

Abstract: 

The media, while playing a key role in communicating information, is one of the most accessible and cost-effective resources for sports, providing all the details with the desired quality. So, receiving a variety of sports messages requires media literacy. The purpose of this study is to provide a practical model of media literacy in the field of sports, which has been done with a qualitative approach and grounded theory method. The research data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 26 university professors in the fields of media and sports, mass media managers and active sports media audiences selected by purposefully non-random sampling method. The findings present the sports media literacy as a model according to which highlighting sports, message content management and including media literacy training in mass media content, especially national media (contextual conditions), leads to empowerment in media consumption, as well as improving social skills of sports audiences.

Abstract: 

Social media function is constantly increasing and sports researchers have attended to this role and function more than ago. The purpose of this study was to review all articles published in sports magazines during the last 10 years with a systematic review approach. The initial article database consisted of 156 selected articles, which according to the title and keywords included one of the terms of Social Media, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest or Snapshot. Then, according to the publication date (2010-2019) and studying abstracts, 137 articles were selected and downloaded. The findings showed that the number of published articles and theories used in them has increased from 2010 to 2019. The diversity of theories supporting the reviewed researches suggests that sport is still considered a multifaceted field, but sporting events such as the World Cup and the Olympics are areas that receive less attention in sports social media studies.

Abstract: 

Applying new educational approaches in media education is essential in higher education.The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of personalized learning which is based on students’cognitive styles on their media literacy.The experimental design by considering pre-test,post-test with control group and mixed sampling method was applied in this study.The experimental group was instructed with personalized contents,strategies and various task fitted with their cognitive styles and their real worlds,while the control group received the common approach which was one education for all.The result of independent t-test revealed that with %99 Confidence level,there was a significant difference between two groups in learning of concepts and their application in media messages analysis skill.By applying new educational approaches which fit students’needs,characteristics and their real worlds experiences,mastering media literacy skills and constructing related knowledge structures will be facilitated.
