The purpose of the present research was to find the validity of the family problem solving scale. The sample group of 55 couple (110 people) was selected from married men and women in Tehran. They were assigned to adjusted/compatible and maladjusted/incompatible and maladjusted/incompatible groups. ENRICH marital satisfaction scale and FPS scale was used as research tools. Analysis of the items revealed 2 variables: Relationship and problem solving. Studding internal correlation of the total scores of the scales and the subscales correlation of relationship and problem solving was 0.95. Reliability of relationship the total score in test - re-test was 0.91 and that of relationship and problem solving was 0.78 and 2.89, respectively. Internal consistency of the total score of relationship and problem solving were 0.91, 0.78 and 0.83, respectively. Since this scale is significantly correlated with ENRICH marital satisfaction scale, it is reliable and able to distinguish adjusted/ compatible and maladjusted/in compatible couples. The scale is recommended for clinical and research purposes.

This research has studied the correlation between sexual knowledge and attitude components and marital satisfaction. The purpose of this study has been to identify the correlation to these two components with marital satisfaction and also to identify the difference of their impacts on wife and husband marital satisfaction. The individuals sample was 105 married students (54 females and 51 males) which were selected through simple random sampling method. Beshart sexual knowledge and attitude scale and ENRICH short form of marital satisfaction questionnaire were used to collect data. Correlation coefficient, independent groups T, and multiple regression analysis were used to analyse obtained data. The results incited that:A- There is a significant correlation between sexual knowledge and attitude with marital satisfaction,B- There is no significant difference between male and female sexual knowledge and attitude and marital satisfaction but there is a significant difference in their sexual attitudes.C- Sexual attitude can predict the marital satisfaction with %99 confidence.

The main objective of this research is investigation of the effectiveness of "Islamic Ontology expansion" on improvement of "Mental Health".This was an experimental study. The statistical population of this study was included female clients of30-35 years old from two psychological counseling centers. Sampling was done by selecting 18 people to participate in this research and they accidentally were placed to two groups (9 people for control group and 9 people for experimental group). Data were collected via SCL-90-R questionnaire that has been standardized by several researches in Iran. Its reliability reported %80 (Alfa Cronbach correlation) by "Yazdi" (1372). This reliability shows that it can be a credible diagnostic test for is criminating between normal and abnormal population. Pretest was conducted in both Experimental groups participated in 10 sessions of teaching Islamic ontology program. Each session was as long as 2 hour. After the treatment, clients passed post test and its groups. The results showed that this intervention was effective on improvement of "Mental Health" increased in post test.

The aim of this research is investigation of educational and occupational planning course on students' educational guidance, and their attitude and interest, as well as that of teachers, administrators, counselors and parents towards the students' elected branches.The method was ex-post facto the sample groups were 659 high school and pre-college students, 193 parents, 200 teachers and 69 administrators, counselors and parents randomly selected from Tehran schools. After collecting and analysing data, the following were results: 1. There was a significant difference between interest and attitude of the study group (those who passed The course) and comparison group (those who did not pass the course) towards their elected branches.2. Counselors and administration staff believe that study group has better educational conditions than comparison group.3. There is no significant difference between satisfaction of the study and comparison groups of parents in their children's elected branches.4. Teachers report that there is no significant difference between the 2 groups in school.5. The attitude and interest of girls towards their elected branches was more positive than those of boys.6. The attitude and interest of study groups in technical and Kar-Danesh branches were more positive than the study group in academic branches.

The goal of present research was to investigate the effectiveness of two approaches of family therapy- "Redecision Therapy" and "Narrative Therapy" - and also the integration of these two therapies with "Positive psychology". In order to reach this goal the process of group counseling was used; In this study, seven hypotheses were tested. The theoretical bases of the above hypotheses were Erick Bern, Robert and Mary Goulding; Micheal White and David Epston; and Martin Seligman.The research design in this study was pre-test, post-test with control group. All married students of Tehran University who they were married at least for two years were total population of this study. From this population 20 couples were the sample; Enrich Marital Satisfaction Questionnaire was used as an instrument. After administering the pre-test, the samples were randomly chosen in 3 experimental groups and I control group. The experimental group was under 5 sessions of 2 hours of group counseling. Then all of 4 group were given the same questionnaire; The dependent variable in this research was examined in 2 ways: Subscale of marital satisfaction and total index of marital satisfaction.The obtained results by descriptive and inferential statistics-independent t-test, Anova and Turkey test-showed the confirmation of 6 hypotheses in this research; finally some suggestions for further research were given and also introducing a "Successful Couples Pyramid".

This study aimed to compare marital satisfaction between dual career couples and single career samples in Iranian couples total number of 50 dual career couple and 50 single career couple ware randomly selected. All the subjects completed the MSI-R.MSI-R Test used to evaluate the marital satisfaction. The test das 11 subscales.The results have shown that in marital satisfaction and the subscales of global distress, time togetherness, role orientation, and dissatisfaction with children and conflict with child rearing, of the two groups were significantly deferent. This test indicates that the dual career couples had significantly better functioning than single career couple (0.05).

The Purpose of this study was to examine the effects of communication training based on couple communication program on couples' relationship.The sample was 30 couples of the counseling centers affiliated to the was women foundation in Isfahan in 2006. They were placed randomly in experimental (15 couples) and control groups (15 couples). The dependent variable was Relationship quality that was measured by communication quality question. The independent variable was communication training program in seven sessions. The hypotheses were that: Communication training program improves relationship and its factors in couples. The data were analyzed by SPSS software. The results showed that couple communication training program improved couples' relationship (P<0.001). The training was effective in relationship factors such as caring for part her (p<0.001), resolving conflicts (p<0.001) and communication styles (P<0.001).
