Abstract:

The essential oils isolated by hydrodistillation from aerial parts of Salvia verticillata were analyzed using GC and GC/MS. 1,8-cineole (19.0 %), germacrene-D (17.0%) and a-pinene (15.88%) were the main components in the essential oil of which were collected from Gachsar region and , b-caryophyllene (12.0 %), germacrene-D (10.7 %) and spathulenol (10.0 %) found to be the major constituents in those which were harvested from Khalkhal region.

Abstract:

The water distilled essential oil of Artemisia Persia Boiss. Grown wild in Iran was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Among the 28 identified components constituting 94.8% of the oil, cis-ocimenone (39.6%) and trans-ascaridol (16.1%) were found to be the major constituents.

Abstract:

The area under study lies in western part of Maharashtra state, India. It is about 300 sq Kms bounded by latitude 16o 10' 0"-16°18' 10" N and longitude 73° 40' 0"-73° 53' 0" E. Te area exhibits a variety of geological formations namely, Archean, Kaladgis and Deccan Trap. The physico-chemical characteristics shows that the soil-sediments are formed under river water and rain water environments, they show high solubility and replace ability series of Ca>Mg>Na>K.The chemical study of the soil samples shows the medium to high moisture content in the soils. They show the incomplete leaching of feldspatic content of parent rock. They show presence of high concentration of iron oxide due to the substitution of Fe+3for aluminum in the structure. They show the variation of element concentration such as Si, Ca, K and Fe.Where as the distribution of Al, Mg, Mn and Ti are regular. The studies of chemical weathering parameters show the strong chemical weathering conditions. The molar ratios define the nature and degree of chemical weathering. The common molar ratios are weathering potential index and product index. The study of these two parameters shows the indication of mixture of immature and mature sediments with clay minerals other than kaolin in relative abundances. The trace element concentration such as Zn, Cu, NI, Cr, Co and V.The presence of such elements in the soil shows high concentrations. The presence of these elements shows the presence of ferromagnesian minerals like hornblendes pyroxene and olivine etc.

Abstract:

During the past few years attention has been drawn on chemical techniques that could be used to textile wastewater decolorization. The photooxidation of two commercial dyes, Acid Orange 7 (AO7) and Acid Orange 8 (AO8); Has been studied in a photochemical reactor. In this reactor ultraviolet (UV) light and hydrogen peroxide were employed to generate hydroxyl radicals for the destruction of dyes in aqueous phase. Irradiation was carried out with a low-pressure mercury lamp. Results of decolorization of Wastewater were measured by absorbency at the characteristic Wavelength. The effects of UV light intensity, hydrogen peroxide dosage and initial concentration of dyes on the degradation rate of wastewater were investigated.

Abstract:

In this research the best conditions of biosorption of Sb III and Sb V were studied by using of Saccharomyce cerevisiae. This is a cheap, non-toxic yeast and available at stores.Biosorption of solution of 2.5ppm of antimony at 60 C and after 30 minutes is the best condition.Maximum of biosorption is at pH 3 for Sb III (%90±%3) and minimum at pH 10 is 20±%4. for Sb V maximum of biosorption at pH 10 is 5%±%3 and at pH 3 is 35±%4. At pH 7 bisorption of Sb III is %80±%3 and fr Sb V is %20±%2. Species were measured with ICP-AES.

Abstract:

The complex of dioxovanadium (V) and Serin acid amino in aquous solution at the pH of 2.5-9 have studied using potentiometric method. The obtained results show that dioxovanadium (V) with serin produce the 1:1 complex at the lower pH values and at the higher pH, the 1:2 complex produce. Also, the protonation constant of Serin and the stability constant of the obtained complexes have investigated in the jonic strength (I) of 0.1-1 mol/Lit of NaCl at 25±0.1oc. Also, the protonation constant of serin and the stability constant of the obtained complexes have examined by Debye-Huckel equation.
