Abstract

Region9 with 195000 Person, Margin Region to Farthest end west Tehran .This Region has Organize. The whole are Tehran Area of the user of GREEN SPACE in the area, 717,465 square meters and in result the per capita available GREEN SPACE in the region 9.The average of GREEN SPACE is 3.67 sq meters per person. According to UN standards that say: 20-25 meters/person, this is not enough, Calculated according to the lack of GREEN SPACE GREEN SPACE in the District 9 area, just enough for 59,788 people and this number will be allocated per 12 square meters, and that means 135,211 people in nine regions (approximately 69.3 percent), lack of GREEN SPACE general area. In order to compensate this shortage of GREEN SPACEs, re-evaluation on land and site selection is necessary. In other words, this is to designate much land for GREEN SPACE in this zone. This evaluation is based on various factors: proximity to densely population areas, cultural and educational places and being far enough from Mehrabad airport, industrial and military land use. In order to meet these standards, GIS techniques are used. After completion of this study, it is shown that GIS can be used as a powerful analytical tool. Besides, to meet a better solution, eighty questionnaires are filled asking various kinds of people in the zone derive good suggestions for GREEN SPACE and parks in the zone This project focuses on these results to compensate this lack using "site selection" with GIS software. Some analytical models are used in this site selection Therefore Zone9 Tehran with Limitation is facing novelties Urban Parks.
