Abstract

Referring to the history and flow of debates about the relationship between form and function in biological structures, it can be noted that in the middle of 1850, "Darwin" took the situation seriously and using the theory of "Von Humboldt", he claimed that "nature”, , has chosen the forms that have created the best compatibility and appropriateness with the environment of their establishment, which was the root of the formation of biophilic, biomimicry and biomorphic architecture. In the era after the Islamic revolution, many architects took advantage of different subjects to create innovative architectural designs that were full of innovation and creativity in architecture. In the meantime, the use of traditional subjects of Iranian architecture, while pointing to innovation in architecture after the Islamic revolution, showed a new type of use of traditional subjects in today's architecture. The research method is descriptive-analytical and Delphi method. Also, the method of logical reasoning has been used to adapt and analyze the functional and formal components of luxurious buildings with biomorphic and biomimicry architectural features. Also, the "Delphi method based on factor analysis" was used to ask 50 university professors about the archeology of each building through a specific format and table with biomorphic and biomimicry architectural features. The findings of the research show that most of the magnificent works after the revolution did not have a significant relationship with biomimicry architectural features and only a small percentage had biomorphic features. At the same time, biophilic architectural indicators have been seen in many works and none of them are considered zoomorphic architecture.
