Abstract

The emergence of new communication technologies has transformed the structure of interactions and human communications and, by shaping a new kind of interaction, has expanded human communication beyond time and space. Among these new technologies are virtual Social networks that today's presence in this space and the interpersonal communication of a virtual type has become an inseparable part of the lives of most people, especially young people. The present study intends to examine the relationship between social intelligence and the Type of Virtual Communication of social networking users. The statistical population of the study is 13442 students studying at Razi University of Kermanshah in the academic year of 1995-96. 375 sample volunteers were selected based on Cochran formula and stratified random sampling. social intelligence data were collected using Trumsu's standard questionnaire (2001) and data Type of Virtual Communication by researcher-made questionnaire, including validity and reliability. To analyze the findings and exploratory factor analysis, SPSS21 software and the relationship between variables were investigated using Pearson correlation coefficient test and for verifying the relationship between variables in the form of a measurement model, AMOS 21 and structural equations. Based on the results of Pearson correlation coefficient, 95% confidence between social intelligence variables, social information processing, social awareness and social skills with variable Type of Virtual Communication have a meaningful direct and positive relationship. Based on the structural equation model, the social intelligence variable with a coefficient of 0. 64 has a relation with the Type of Virtual Communication variable.
