Abstract

The interaction of Structure and Architecture creates different visual and functional effects in the physical space. In other words, the relationship between the two can include potentials (and sometimes weaknesses) that affect the final quality of the space. The skeletal form of the Structure is closely related to the form of the carrier Structure. The purpose of this article is the interaction of Structure and Architecture in modern Architecture of developing countries with emphasis on the Middle East region from the perspective of bionic Architecture in order to improve the physical quality of space. Hence, the design of a building determines its general form as a kind of structural design. However, the relationship between structural design and architectural design can take many forms. The concepts of Architecture and Structure and how they interact and interact, as well as the new Architecture of the third millennium, are the concepts that have been discussed in this study and their results have been used in research. In this article, the combined method (descriptive and analytical-synthetic-historical) and the study and review of libraries were used and the collection and analysis were done through library studies. The main question of the research is what are the characteristics and principles of bionic Architecture in modern Architecture? The results of this paper show that bionics is in fact a creative tool to achieve the goal of sustainability effectively and efficiently. All the Structures and processes of nature can be considered sustainable because they have existed indefinitely for thousands of years. On a daily basis, humans and their creatures negatively affect the environment.
