Abstract

Experiences of divorced women from the cultural stigmas attributed to them after divorce, stigmatization is a phenomenon that is artificial and depends on time and place. They hit on the foreheads of those who deviate from the approved norms. The society has gone beyond. Considering a society with a patriarchal system and a woman's identity next to a man, divorce itself is an issue that leads to social disapproval and, as a result, paves the way for the stigmatization of women. This research aims to delve into the world of women after divorce and find out the realities of life in a phenomenological way in order to understand the experiences of divorced women from the stigmas attributed to them after divorce. In this direction, using the sociological point of view Like Goffman, using the purposeful sampling method, an in-depth interview was conducted with 9 divorced women of Darud city (Lorestan). And the information was analyzed by Estevik-Kolaisi-Kan method. A number of 168 codes were extracted, then the concepts extracted from them were categorized on four levels until the results were reached. Findings in two levels: A) divorced women's experiences of stigma attributed to them after divorce. b) Experiences of divorced women from different cultural times in the stigma of women. It was grouped. In the first part, he showed that the experiences of divorced women are from attributional stereotypes and that cultural stereotypes in their various forms have been attributed to them and led to wrong social judgments. And in the part of the experiences of divorced women from cultural contexts in the stigma of women, there was an indication that anti-values, anti-norms, beliefs and attitudes have a direct impact on the creation of stigma and attribution. It is for women.
