Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this research was the relationship between empowering teachers through in-service training and its effects on their educational quality. Methods: The current research was descriptive of the correlation type. The statistical population of the research included primary school teachers in District 6 of Tehran. The sample size based on available sampling was 234 people. The tools used in the research were the teacher Empowerment questionnaire (Spritzer and Mishra, 1992) and the impact of in-service training on teacher efficiency (Ghafouri, 2016). Results: The research findings showed that there is a significant relationship between empowering teachers through in-service training and its effects on their educational quality (P<0. 001). Conclusions: The present study emphasizes the importance of empowering teachers through in-service training and its effects on their educational quality. Therefore, the results showed that by increasing the amount of in-service courses, the amount of teacher Empowerment increased in all dimensions.
