Abstract

The OPTIMUM size of the GOVERNMENT is a crucial issue in public sector economy. This research paper study the OPTIMUM size of the GOVERNMENT among sampled ISLAMIC COUNTRIES using the proposed ARMI method. The regression analysis carried out through panel data method as well as for each selected country benefiting from time series data. The study shows that among some ISLAMIC COUNTRIES, size of the GOVERNMENT is lower than the OPTIMUM level and among some others; it is higher than the OPTIMUM level. It has been OPTIMUM just for a few of them.
