Abstract

Social pathology, like other social and causal fields, uses practical methods to investigate its desired subjects. For this purpose, it is used both from a mental point of view in the form of knowledge of specific concepts and with the help of objective research tools in the form of scientific research to investigate the causes, backgrounds and solutions. The increasing urban growth caused by the natural increase of the population and the increase in migration caused by the lack of moderation in the spatial-social and economic planning of the country, together with the government's decision to focus on creating economic, social activities and other attractions for immigrants, have the greatest impact on expanding the physical and social dimensions of metropolises. and has affected the quality of social life. These effects have sometimes brought a wide range of socio-economic, cultural and physical problems. Urban issues and problems are expressed differently over time and in each urban area or neighborhood, the social and physical context of the areas also requires different management strategies, while the speed of development in some areas has been higher due to investment in different sectors. The present research intends to continue the previous field research in the 12th district of Tehran city (Shahid Harandi neighborhood), by carefully studying the information and correctly integrating them, to interpret with the aim of finding the root of the problems with a neighborhoodoriented approach. In the current research, in-depth interviews were conducted with people who are currently involved in social and economic harms in Darvaze-Ghar neighborhood of Tehran and the results are analyzed. This study emphasizes on discovering the lived experience of the person and the causes and situations that maintain these pathologies. In this research, we will explain the role of causal conditions and intervening conditions in the theory of disorganization of DarvazehGhar neighborhood by stratifying the factors affecting social pathology. Also, on this basis, we examine the effects of economic components and the role of the government and the public sector on the economy of the neighborhood in more detail.
