Abstract

Since the Zionist regime's National Security strategy has changed in recent years, the regime's leaders have prioritized using Salafi-Takfiri groups to protect their National Security. This paper aims to provide an answer to the question: What role do Salafi-Takfiri organizations play in Zionist regime's security plan? In order to threaten the National Security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its allies, the paper's hypothesis states that " the Zionist regime has used groups like ISIS from two perspectives, as a strategic-security tool and an intellectual discursive tool. " This has caused Israel and ISIS to align intellectually and strategically against Iran and its allies in the axis of resistance. According to this perspective, the role of Salafi-Takfiri and religious extremist organizations like ISIS in ensuring the Zionist regime's National Security is to: use them in identity conflicts, Proxy wars, and assassinations,weaken the security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its allies in the axis of resistance and the region,counter Iran's influence and developing a strong relationship between the Zionist regime and the Arabs,Weakening, disintegrating, and balkanizing the surrounding countries surrounding,conducting terrorist acts and causing insecurity and instability in Iran,Iranophobia and portraying Iran's power and its allies as a regional threat,and developing strategic depth for itself in the region. The paper is based on the descriptive-analytical method.
