Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop a structural model of the role of work Dimensions in determining the Workload of Faculty members. In this descriptive-correlational study, 230 Faculty members of the Islamic Azad University of Hamadan province were selected by relative stratified sampling method and participated in the present study. Then, to collect the required data, a 110-item questionnaire was used to determine the Workload. To determine the validity of this questionnaire, the Lavache method was used to evaluate the content validity in a quantitative manner, using two relative content validity coefficients (CVR) and Content validity index (CVI) was exploited and the calculated value was 0.92, which indicates the desired validity. Also, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to determine the reliability of the above questionnaire, which was calculated to be 0.89. Then, structural equation modeling method was used to analyze the statistical data. The results showed that the proposed model has an acceptable fit. Because it was specified that each dimension of work, ie research, is 0.64; Services of 0.60 and education of 0.40 explain the variance of professors' Workload, which means that the working Dimensions of the Faculty's job are directly and indirectly directly related to the Workload.
