Abstract

The present essay deals with explanation of causes as well as history of formulation of the quran (written by Theodore nöldke in 1860) first and with itinerary of its completion and rewriting by schwally, bergstäβer, and pretzl, alongside with a glance at of three volume of the book. The second part deals with introduction of the newly published Arabic translation of the work by GEORGE TOMER (berlin & Beirut) and criticism of some parts of it as well as explanation of its linguistic problems.
