Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the effect of HAPPINESS training on the COUPLES’ life quality in counseling center in Isfahan city. The method of the present research is empirical.20 COUPLES were selected out of the pcouples who voluntarily came to the counceling centers; they were classified into two groups using random sampling (one control group and one experimental group).The treatment given to the experimental group was carried out by the researcher. the instrument used in this study was the Oxford HAPPINESS questionnaire (1989) and the life quality questionnaire adopted from the shortened form of global health organization (1994). The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics.The comparison made between the post-test scores for life quality test and covariance analysis of life quality test showed that there is significant difference between the experimental and control groups in all of the subscales. Generally, the results of this study showed that HAPPINESS training will increase the COUPLES’ life quality.
