Abstract

Nowadays no country can rely on its own scientific resources and overcome its problems’ thus it is necessary to be informed of the economical, political, social situations, cultural features and especially the development of other countries, so that it can use them, considering their own cultures in the right time. To gain such information, two fields of study in computer and learning languages, must be developed. Since one of the considerable items in educational centers in Ukraine is learning languages of different nations and having communication with their educational centers, this paper makes a comparison between learning foreign languages in Iran and Ukraine, so that if there are some positive points in the educational centers in Ukraine, they could be used by educational programmers in Iran. In this research information was gathered according to comparative analysis to gain a real picture, based on the evidences, of the situations of faculties of foreign languages in Iran. After comparing two universities of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko and Iniaz, with two universities in Iran, UNIVERSITY OF TEHRAN and UNIVERSITY OF SHIRAZ, this became clear that in Ukraine with 25 foreign languages and 121 foreign language schools, TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGEs is more important than Iran.
