Abstract

The important changes in the history of the PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE in the 20thcentury are: 1. Positivism and didacticism 2. Falsifiablity of Carl Poper and the methodology of scientific research program of Lakatos.3. Structuralism and relativism of Thomas Kuhn.4. HERMENEUTICS.By overcoming of HERMENEUTICS over the PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE, the greatest change in the field of methodology occurred.HERMENEUTICS can be divided into two catagoies: 1. functional: a. Text HERMENEUTICS of Schleier macher.b. Philosophical hermeneatics of Hidegar that is ontological.c. Methodological HERMENEUTICS of Diltey.d. HERMENEUTICS of Gadamar that is a combination of methodology and ONTOLOGY.2. Historical: a. Classical HERMENEUTICS, that Schleiermacher and Diltey are among its famous characters, and its important feature is abolutivism.b. Modern HERMENEUTICS that its feature is relativism and its characters are Hidegar and Gadamer.c. Postmodern hermenutics that is taken from modern HERMENEUTICS and sometimes like Hersch tends to classical HERMENEUTICS and sometimes like Habermas, tends to a kind of relativism.This article is dealing with effective backgrounds on HERMENEUTICS and gives a brief account of different kinds of HERMENEUTICS.
