Abstract

 "Enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong" is a highly emphasized religious practice, even much more recommended than jihad in the path of God, to the extent that if done correctly, it will bring felicity to humans, and if abandoned, it will cause their wretchedness. The purpose of this paper is to identify and extract organizational examples of this practice.To accomplish this, a meta-synthesis method has been used and a total of 75 articles and books have been chosen for drawing related codes. Then these codes have been classified under 10 categories: individual, related to employer, related to employees, related to customers, associated with competitors, stakeholders, related to society, related to products, related to marketing, accounting and finance, and related to IT. Some of these concepts are doing with issues in the field of business ethics raised by various scholars, and some are different. The authors believe that this article is actually a beginning step in introducing the practice of "enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong" in organizations, and requires further comprehensive research in future.
