Abstract

Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising money from a large number of people who each contribute a relatively small amount, typically via the Internet. Crowdfunding has been Wildly used as a new method of funding for startups and new ventures. This paper seeks to study applications and requirements of applying Crowdfunding in the Enterprises. The research method is qualitative, and Thematic analysis has been used to analyse convergent interviews with 22 expert in the field of Crowdfunding & football club governance. Based on the findings, application of Crowdfunding in football clubs can be categorized as idea generation, funding and creation of shared value. The identified requirements for using Crowdfunding can be classified in three main areas: technological factors, organization readiness and environment that Enterprise is located in.
